36 Signs The Media Is Lying To You About How Radiation From Fukushima Is Affecting The West Coast

Fukushima Radiation

The west coast of the United States is being absolutely fried by radiation from the Fukushima nuclear disaster, and the mainstream media is not telling us the truth about this.  What you are about to see is a collection of evidence that is quite startling.  Taken collectively, this body of evidence shows that nuclear radiation from Fukushima is affecting sea life in the Pacific Ocean and animal life along the west coast of North America in some extraordinary ways.  But the mainstream media continues to insist that we don’t have a thing to worry about.  The mainstream media continues to insist that radiation levels in the Pacific and along the west coast are perfectly safe.  Are they lying to us?  Evaluate the evidence compiled below and come to your own conclusions…

#1 Independent researchers have measured alarmingly high levels of radiation on the beaches of the west coast.  For example, the video posted below was taken on December 23rd, 2013 at Pacifica State Beach.  As you can see in this video, radiation levels near the water are up to five times higher than normal background radiation…

#2 According to Oceanus Magazine, the total amount of cesium-137 that has been released into the Pacific Ocean from Fukushima is 10,000 to 100,000 times greater than the amount released into the oceans by the Chernobyl disaster or by the atmospheric nuclear weapons tests of the 1960s.

#3 Former MSNBC host Cenk Uygur has admitted that while he was at MSNBC he was instructed not to warn the public about the radiation coming from Fukushima

“I was on MSNBC at the time when this happened, I said, “Don’t trust what the Japanese government is saying, they’ll say trust what the electric power company is saying. Go, go, go, get outta there. Get as far away from that plant as you can. It’s literally a core meltdown.” And they always don’t want people to panic, so they were always like, “Oh it’s going to be okay.” [...] I’m like, “You’re crazy man, don’t be anywhere near that reactor.” And I remember at the time, of course not at The Young Turks, but on cable news, people were like, “Hey Cenk, you know, I don’t know that you want to say that, because the official government position is that it’s safe.” Oh, is that the official government position? Now go explain that to the people who served on the USS Ronald Reagan.”

#4 71 U.S. sailors who assisted with the initial Fukushima relief efforts have developed serious diseases such as testicular cancer, thyroid cancer, Leukemia, “unremitting gynecological bleeding” and brain tumors since that time as a result of exposure to radiation coming from Fukushima.

#5 Something is causing starfish all along the west coast of the United States to literally disintegrate into piles of “white goo“…

Researchers say nuclear pollution from the 2011 earthquake in Japan that damaged the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant could be partially to blame for a disease wiping out starfish along the West Coast.

Dr. Peter Raimondi of the University of Santa Cruz says something is making starfish susceptible to whats believed to be a bacteria coined “Wasting Disease.” It essentially disintegrate the marine invertebrates into a white goo, after the starfish loses its legs.

#6 Bald eagles are dying in unprecedented numbers in Utah, and nobody can figure out why this is happening…

Bald eagles are dying in Utah — 20 in the past few weeks alone — and nobody can figure out why.

Hundreds of the majestic birds — many with wing spans of 7 feet or more — migrate here each winter, gathering along the Great Salt Lake and feasting on carp and other fish that swim in the nearby freshwater bays.

Earlier this month, however, hunters and farmers across five counties in northern and central Utah began finding the normally skittish raptors lying listless on the ground. Many suffered from seizures, head tremors and paralysis in the legs, feet and wings.

#7 Huge numbers of dead birds are dropping dead and washing up along the coastlines of Alaska.  It is being reported that many of the carcases of the dead birds are “broken open and bleeding”.

#8 The recent deaths of thousands of birds in Oregon is absolutely baffling scientists.

#9 Something is causing large numbers of seals and walruses up in Alaska to lose hair and develop “oozing sores”.

#10 Substantial numbers of polar bears along the coast of Alaska are suffering from fur loss and open sores.

#11 There is an epidemic of sea lion deaths along the California coastline.

#12 The population of sockeye salmon along the coastlines of Alaska is at a “historic low”.

#13 Something is causing Pacific herring to bleed from their gills, bellies and eyeballs.

#14 Dangerous levels of cesium-137 have been discovered in mushrooms and berries grown along the west coast.

#15 According to an absolutely shocking report put out by the National Academy of Sciences, it has been proven that Pacific Bluefin tuna have transported radioactive material “across the entire North Pacific Ocean”…

“We report unequivocal evidence that Pacific Bluefin tuna, Thunnus orientalis, transported Fukushima-derived radionuclides across the entire North Pacific Ocean.”

#16 Something seems to be causing a substantial spike in the death rate for killer whales living off of the coast of British Columbia.

#17 Experts have found very high levels of cesium-137 in plankton living in the waters of the Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and the west coast.

#18 One test in California found that 15 out of 15 Bluefin tuna were contaminated with radiation from Fukushima.

#19 Back in 2012, the Vancouver Sun reported that cesium-137 was being found in a very high percentage of the fish that Japan was selling to Canada…

• 73 percent of the mackerel

• 91 percent of the halibut

• 92 percent of the sardines

• 93 percent of the tuna and eel

• 94 percent of the cod and anchovies

• 100 percent of the carp, seaweed, shark and monkfish

#20 An EU-funded study concluded that Fukushima released up to 210 quadrillion becquerels of cesium-137 into the atmosphere.

#21 One very experienced Australian adventurer has stated that he felt as though “the ocean itself was dead” as he journeyed from Japan to San Francisco recently…

The next leg of the long voyage was from Osaka to San Francisco and for most of that trip the desolation was tinged with nauseous horror and a degree of fear.

“After we left Japan, it felt as if the ocean itself was dead,” Macfadyen said.

“We hardly saw any living things. We saw one whale, sort of rolling helplessly on the surface with what looked like a big tumour on its head. It was pretty sickening.

“I’ve done a lot of miles on the ocean in my life and I’m used to seeing turtles, dolphins, sharks and big flurries of feeding birds. But this time, for 3000 nautical miles there was nothing alive to be seen.”

In place of the missing life was garbage in astounding volumes.

“Part of it was the aftermath of the tsunami that hit Japan a couple of years ago. The wave came in over the land, picked up an unbelievable load of stuff and carried it out to sea. And it’s still out there, everywhere you look.”

#22 It is being projected that the radioactivity of coastal waters off the U.S. west coast could double over the next five to six years.

#23 The deputy chairman of Russia’s State Duma Committee for Natural Resources, Maxim Shingarkin, says that seafood captured off the northwest coast of the United States is so radioactive that it represents a “danger for mankind”…

“Currents in the world ocean are so structured that the areas of seafood capture near the U.S. northwest coast are more likely to contain radioactive nuclides than even the Sea of Okhotsk, which is much closer to Japan. These products are the main danger for mankind because they can find their way to people’s tables on a massive scale.”

#24 According to one recent scientific report, radiation from Fukushima could affect our seafood for “many generations” and ultimately kill more than a million people…

This cycle will last for many generations, because of the food chain of fish and other marine fauna, and the radioactivity will be recycled and in fact the meat content will increase rather than decreasing by decay. Even if only one one-hundredth of the radioactivity (more than 1e15 Bq of CS137) were to enter this recirculation pattern, the collective whole body ingestion dose over many generations would exceed 1e7 Sv, sufficient to kill more than 1,000,000 people.

#25 The Japanese government has estimated that approximately 300 tons of highly radioactive water is pouring into the Pacific Ocean from the destroyed Fukushima nuclear facility every single day.

#26 A senior researcher of marine chemistry at the Japan Meteorological Agency’s Meteorological Research Institute says that “30 billion becquerels of radioactive cesium and 30 billion becquerels of radioactive strontium” are being released into the Pacific Ocean from Fukushima every single day.

#27 According to Tepco, a total of somewhere between 20 trillion and 40 trillion becquerels of radioactive tritium have gotten into the Pacific Ocean since the Fukushima disaster first began.

#28 According to a professor at Tokyo University, 3 gigabecquerels of cesium-137 are flowing into the port at Fukushima Daiichi every single day.

#29 It is being projected that significant levels of cesium-137 will reach every corner of the Pacific Ocean by the year 2020.

#30 It has been estimated that the entire Pacific Ocean will soon “have cesium levels 5 to 10 times higher” than what we witnessed during the era of heavy atomic bomb testing in the Pacific many decades ago.

#31 The immense amount of radioactive material being released into the Pacific Ocean from Fukushima has caused environmental activist Joe Martino to issue the following warning

“Your days of eating Pacific Ocean fish are over.”

#32 The Iodine-131, Cesium-137 and Strontium-90 that are constantly being released from Fukushima are going to affect the health of those living in the northern hemisphere for a very, very long time.  Just consider what Harvey Wasserman had to say about this…

Iodine-131, for example, can be ingested into the thyroid, where it emits beta particles (electrons) that damage tissue. A plague of damaged thyroids has already been reported among as many as 40 percent of the children in the Fukushima area. That percentage can only go higher. In developing youngsters, it can stunt both physical and mental growth. Among adults it causes a very wide range of ancillary ailments, including cancer.

Cesium-137 from Fukushima has been found in fish caught as far away as California. It spreads throughout the body, but tends to accumulate in the muscles.

Strontium-90’s half-life is around 29 years. It mimics calcium and goes to our bones.

#33 Outdoor radiation levels at Fukushima recently hit a new all-time high.

#34 According to the Wall Street Journal, it is being projected that the cleanup of Fukushima could take up to 40 years to complete.

#35 Yale Professor Charles Perrow is warning that if the cleanup of Fukushima is not handled with 100% precision that humanity could be threatened “for thousands of years”

“Conditions in the unit 4 pool, 100 feet from the ground, are perilous, and if any two of the rods touch it could cause a nuclear reaction that would be uncontrollable. The radiation emitted from all these rods, if they are not continually cool and kept separate, would require the evacuation of surrounding areas including Tokyo. Because of the radiation at the site the 6,375 rods in the common storage pool could not be continuously cooled; they would fission and all of humanity will be threatened, for thousands of years.”

#36 There are very alarming reports that new “unexplained plumes of radioactive steam” are rising at Fukushima.  Japanese officials are not able to get inside and see what is causing these plumes.  Some are speculating that the crisis at Fukushima just got a whole lot worse.  The following is from a recent Ecologist article

Unexplained plumes of radioactive steam have been rising from Fukushima’s Reactor Building 3, Could a major meltdown be on the way?

Fukushima’s Reactor Building 3 exploded on 13th March 2011 as a result of a hydrogen buildup, breaching the building’s containment and emitting a huge plume of radiation. The reactor itself is in meltdown.

And now fresh plumes of steam have been seen coming out the structure. These have now been confirmed by Tepco, the owner of the nuclear plant, from 19th December onwards. The company believes the steam is coming from the fifth floor of the building.

However it does not know the cause of the steam. Lethal levels of radiation and the physical damage to the structure have so far made entry and inspection impossible.

If a full-blown meltdown does happen at Fukushima, it would be an environmental disaster unlike anything that we have ever seen before in human history.

As we enter 2014, we are entering a time when the world is becoming increasingly unstable.  The global economy is being shaken, political corruption is seemingly everywhere, evidence of advanced social decay is all around us and the earth itself is starting to groan and crack with increasingly regularity.  But the mainstream media continues to insist that everything is going to be just fine.  That is one of the reasons why I wrote my new novel.  The American people deserve to hear the truth and be warned about the great challenges that are rapidly approaching.

In the end, millions upon millions of people could end up getting seriously ill as a result of all of this radiation coming from Fukushima.  Most of them will never even know why they have gotten sick.

And if there is a major earthquake or a significant accident during the cleanup at Fukushima, we could actually see huge sections of Japan be evacuated permanently.

It would be hard to overstate just how serious all of this is.  But you won’t hear about this from the mainstream media.  Their story is that “everything is okay” and they are sticking to it.

So what do you think?  Please feel free to share your thoughts by posting a comment below…

It’s only going to get worse. Radiation keeps reaching higher and higher levels under Daiichi reactor 2. This indicates that the nuclear material is out of containment and is fissioning somewhere underground. It will never be located let alone contained. No one can get near enough to it to verify its actual location.

Nuclear material is stored haphazardly in building 4, in an open air pool above ground. Some of these rods are spent fuel, and some are not. There is a large amount of plutonium (nuclear waste) among this material. This poses this greatest risk to the environment that mankind has ever known.

    • K

If I recall, you live on the west coast. Have you decided at what point you will leave?

      • Kim

Not really. I suppose I’ll leave when everyone else does. Where would I go? I’ve never lived farther west than central Washington. My entire family lives in Oregon and Washington state. I won’t leave them. I can’t. I just pray for relief…like everyone else. :-/

        • K

Kim, please understand I mean this in a kind way. You are standing on the railroad tracks. You can clearly see the train is coming. Should you step off the track, or demand the Lord stop the train? If you wait for everyone else to leave, you may not like the results. The last time there was a mass migration in this Country, they made a movie about it. It was called the Grapes of Wrath. Yes I know it was a movie, but it was quite accurate. I am not telling you to do anything, just consider what I have said. And if you find any merit to it, pray on it. Just remember how many times in the Bible, God told his people to get up, and leave a certain place.

          • Kim

I understand K. I am taking precautions and making some preparations now- as much as I can. I have family (ex in laws, but they still like me) in Southern California, but it’s a mess down there. I am considering Arizona, but I don’t know anyone there.

My mother is here, ironically, she lives up near Hanford, Wa (another radioactive hotspot) She needs me, I can’t leave her. I also have a son in Wa (near Hanford as well) and my daughter goes to college in Eugene Oregon. I can’t leave them.

          • Travis

South Africa? Im trying to engage my family to move en masse,if i can get us all together and convince them to one mind and one goal, a group like that is formidable. South Africa is most likely to be affected in some way from it if the nuclear reactors blow, but it is the safest seeming place when alls accounted for

          • Tommy

Travis, no insensitivity meant, but, if you are white, you do not want to go to South Africa. The press supresses the way the ruling powers treat the minority. The rule now is if something doesn’t benefit the blacks, it isn’t done. Google South African farmers being murdered. The Rhodesians publish guidelines on how to defend their homes from the natives, since the police make no effort to protect the rural white citizens. Just know what you are getting into before moving en masse, seems SA will be as bad as the rest of that continent in the next 10-20 years the way things are headed.

          • Dave R

            South Africa ? ! ! ! You’d live longer dealing with Cesium.

          • thenicholasclan

I wouldn’t recommend SA…..I have several friends that have had to leave…I here Australia is nice;)

          • Kenneth Arnold

FYI : South Africa has got some real problems, too. One of the world’s highest rates of violence among them.

          • K

I know the feeling. I have two sisters that live in WA. state. One of them right on Puget sound. Yes i know about Hanford, that is rough. Both my sisters live near the nuclear sub base. Arizona, is having some crime problems in the larger cities All you can do, is what you can do..

          • http://www.naturallifeenergy.com/ Aqiyl Aniys

You are in a hard situation like everyone else living on the west coast. It would be hard for anyone to just get up and go, and to leave family makes it even harder. I wish you strength in whatever descision you make.

          • Sharon Natsarim Odehnal

Hello Kim;) I can totally appreciate your loyalty. If you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ He will see you through and protect you and your family. I know, He has protected me so many times it is amazing! I cant use mere words to describe the supernatural ways and events where His presence has sheltered me from harm. There will eventually be no place to run to. These are the last days, these are His judgements. God helps and protects those that are His.

          • X-Christian

            Whaaa???
Jesus Christ is going to protect you?
            That is ridiculous.
We need some scientists and reporters on this. Not Jesus.
Last thing we need here is some superstitious nonsense.

          • Richard T.

You need to realize that the world is much more than just what we can see in the physical. Seriously consider everything that is happening, Jesus is the only answer for you and me.

          • X-Christian

Please go back to the stone age.
voodoo and witchcraft are fun for movies and novels – not reality. Keep it in your tabernacle. K?

          • John

            Which God?

          • HenryG

Sorry but the christians being slaugtered in Syria by US/NATO/Saudi sponsored al-ciada would probably disagree with you.

          • Richard T.

No, they would agree. God has called them home. What the murderous Muslims meant for evil, God meant for good.

          • Willyum Ivy

Not to sound evil, but, THERE IS NO WHERE TO GO !!!! Got another Planet ? ’cause this one is Toast…

          • HenryG

Southern Hemisphere–atmosphere tends not to mix with that of the north. That doesn’t stop sea/water borne nuclear contamination moving down south, but you can avoid seafood and seaweed that has not been tested or that comes from the general area between Japan/Asia and the west coast of the USA.

          • Louie Goebel

Then be prepared for the inevitable…being nuked right under your very eyes

          • Ruby Kissoyan

            It was a BOOK.

        • Giancarlo Tortuga

Go to Chilean or to Peruan coast… (what if Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant is destroyed or “partly damaged” by an earthquake in California?)

          • Alex1956

Not a good choice in my view. Pacific Ocean exposure, etc. In South America, southeast such as Paraguay, Brazil would be better.

        • RoguesScholarUSMC

I live in Bend with plenty of room in my survival compound for a like minded person like you.

        • Art Granda

Don’t call the movers just yet.

        • Alan Remick

(Getting ready to snap up some cheap beachfront property in CA when the ignorant all move out!)

      • laura m.

I live in so. east near the gulf of Mexico, won’t it spread here too? Is there anywhere really to “run”?

        • Kim

Time will tell what damage will be done and how far it will spread. But when it comes to radiation, time isn’t a luxury we have.

          • Stophypocrisy

You are correct, I will continue to get worse and there is nothing to stop it and no where to run or hide. Radioisotopes move up the food chain and will spread around the globe. Some places faster than others but what difference does it really make for the future of the planet. Some scientists are saying its time to leave a huge plaque to any interstellar travelers who may stumble across this dead world, that a few stupid, careless and greedy humans destroyed the entire planet for a few bucks.

        • K

At the rate of progress they are making. It will eventually be everywhere. It is a matter of buying time. What the west coast will be like in 3 years, is what your area may be like in 12 years. Just remember the Gulf has its’ own unique problems, between the oil, and even more so what they sprayed on it. Already not a very healthy place, especially for children. As things stand now, if I was under the age of fifty. I would move away from all the major salt water bodies.

      • coconutgirl

This question begs some thought… Most of the rich wealthy business owners left the USA decades ago and that is why they have been speaking of the us collapse coming and all that fear mongering. There really isn’t anywhere to go that won’t be affected by all these meltdowns that are going to occur as people lose control of their nuclear inventions.

    • Jaswars

This is unbelievable that this unfolding disaster is being kept from the world.

      • Kim

Google conjoined whales. It won’t be kept from the world for long. We will be seeing more of this,

  • DJohn1

Well, there go the parts for my Toyota! Makes me think GM might do anything to eliminate the competition . . .

This is something that concerns everyone. This radiation concerns every person on the planet.

The only way it will get fixed is if a team of engineers from the top people in the field get together and have access to unlimited funds to do it. That means cooperation from China, Russia, Germany, and any others we can lay our hands on. Then we have to coordinate it all to get it fixed.

What are the alternatives? I don’t see any alternatives.
We do not necessarily have the technology to fix it. But what I just said is the only way I know to have a chance to fix it.

    • Mariel

If there is a plot, as some suggest, to destabilize society through such catastrophes, the destabilizers will suffer too. They have fouled their own nests. If there is a plot to withhold news, and therefore no effort to clean this up, the withholders of news will suffer too. Can anyone understand, if this is true, why these people want to destroy their own home?
I know scientists who want to sweep this stuff under the “rug”. I don’t understand it, it’s beyond my comprehension. it’s painful not to understand.

      • DJohn1

The “plot” reads like a Science Fiction or Fantasy Novel. That is why it is so difficult to even believe.
Based on strictly circumstantial evidence I think someone is trying to take over the entire planet. That of course is just my opinion based on slim evidence.
When everything has gone bad this person or group will show up to “fix” everything.
The question no one has an answer to is just exactly WHO or WHAT that individual or group of individuals are?
Revelations in the Bible seems to place that individual as someone that will be the Anti-Christ of prophecy. Seems like science fiction to me. Or Fantasy if you divide the groups into those involving ESP and assorted talents.
The ugly word to me is “SETUP” because I think the Jews were set up in Christ’s time by a group of questionable origin.
If the scriptures are accurate . . .
Then we have a super human individual capable of things far in excess of anything our human people are capable of with all our science and all our current knowledge. That individual was Jesus Christ.
But if this is all a SETUP for the anti-christ and the eventual return of the real Jesus Christ as prophecy indicates then reality and what is going on do not necessarily check.
WHO would have the ability to clean up that radiation spill?
When all other answers do not make sense, then whatever is left will be the right answer no matter how it sounds.
Personally when I can validate that Jesus Christ is who he says he is in the current time instead of the anti-christ then I will follow him as my fate and courage warrant me capable of.
There are many things that are hidden beneath the surface of things. I am close to the end of my lifespan. By that I mean sometime in the next 20 years I will most likely be dead unless something intervenes. Any insurance company can tell you within months what your expected lifespan will be. I am diabetic. I am slightly overweight for my size. I do not expect to live past 90. But I am 71 now so I may have many years to live or not.
Possibly younger people than me will have to deal with this problem.
I suggest anyone younger protect themselves with proper food and drugs that counter radiation poisoning. Your best chance of survival will be in the mountains of the Rockies. Some place several miles high would be best.
I would be very careful of the water you drink. I would suggest geiger counters to scan your food and water.
I would keep ways of changing most of the water in your body in a short period of time in case of radiation poisoning. The military tell us to drink liquids that are safe in large amounts to change any contamination.
The onlyreal safe places will be those not in the jetstream of the northern hemisphere.

        • travis

God Bless You. I dearly hope the day will not come when we must revert to survivalism, but im afraid the majority of people will not even notice the transition , the realization that we must abandon civilization and survive. God keep you sir. may our future be bright.

        • Giancarlo Tortuga

“And a third of the seas of the World will become blood, because they are poisoned with bitter water, and they could drink no more of those waters, because will taste of WORMWOOD”.

  • Tim

Wow. I stopped eating fish from the Pacific Ocean a couple years ago, and I’m glad I did. Some have maintained that it’s safe to eat seafood from the Pacific, but I’m convinced that it isn’t. I won’t even eat Wild-Caught Alaskan Salmon. And that’s a shame because Wild Caught Salmon would otherwise be one of the healthiest foods on the planet. I’m now limited to eating sardines from the Atlantic and, occasionally, Wild- Caught Atlantic Flounder.

    • Tommy

Us too, as far as being careful of food. We live near the gulf. Stopped eating gulf seafood the week after the oil spill, and don’t plan to eat it for a few years after the leaks stop. With the nuclear power, I,wonder why there is no mention of safe nuclear power? The current type so popular are only so flippin dangerous because they can produce the uranium for nuclear weapons. There are meltdown proof reactor designs that produce little waste, yet no one seems to want to build these. The dangerous, old, leaky, waste producing must be a money maker for someone.

      • blockhart329

They use them because they use a lot more raw nuclear material, making a huge profit for the companies that supply it. They also produce waste material that can be refined to make nuclear weapons.
Melted Salt Reactors (MSRs) have been around for a long time, but only now are some countries looking at them as a practical source of energy. One great thing about them is they are so efficient, they can be rigged to use spent fuel from the current reactors as their fuel.
We have to start making MSRs and using them to clean up the waste from all the old ones.

  • K

Fukushima now covered under Japan state secrets act. Any news coming out on Fukushima, that is determined to be damaging to the Govt. of Japan. Is considered a violation of the state secrets act. Yep nothing to see here. Great article Michael.

    • Alan Remick

More misinformation. The Japanese secrets act was so that the US could share military and intelligence information with the Japanese without it being shared.

      • K

The Japanese State secrets act has nothing to do with what you are talking about. It basically classifies as a state secret, anything considered to be detrimental to the Gov. of Japan. It is considered anti whistle blower, and an attempt to muzzle the media. Why do you think their Prime Minister fell so far in the polls when it passed.

        • Alan Remick

Their Prime Minister fell so far in the polls when it passed because the media (which has a vested interest of course) did such a good job of spinning it as a law that classifies as a state secret anything considered to be
detrimental to the Gov. of Japan, anti whistle blower,
and an attempt to muzzle the media.

You didn’t actually read it, did you?

          • K

I believe it can be abused. Most people thought the patriot act was a good thing. No so much now.

  • calipotential

Do you think it’s safe for me to go work in Sacramento for the year?

Yes for a few years the radiation will only be slightly dangerous as it starts to affect the port cities ecosystems more. However if theres more trouble ahead at Fukushima i cant say for sure its a safe bet…..if you dont have somewhere to go on the East Coast then you better start looking for a long term vacation destination

      • Giancarlo Tortuga

It is not only radiation… it is CESIUM, which is a POISON… it fights it’s way to POTASSIUM CHANNELS in the CELLS (specially in MUSCLES, HEARTH, BRAIN, LIVER)… and in big concentrations it can kill in a matter of hours, that’s what happened to several horses that were near FUK-U-SHIMA.

        • Giancarlo Tortuga

And You have another 100 NUCLEAR REACTORS in CONTINENTAL USA in ORDER TO MAKE A REALLY BIG PARTY FOR ALL THE WORLD… as the immaginary JOHN TITOR wrote: “Nobody loves You in the Future”.

(Energy badly needed for yor 20 not energy saving light bulbs constantly turned on, or for Your powerful Play Staion…)

  • Randa

All a part of their plan. Fukushima was no accident. Chernobyl was no accident. According to Dr Chris Busby, there is a 100% leakage in the nuclear power plants in the USA. The Earth is a radioactive planet (i.e. radon produced from granite), but nuclear power and its radioactive emissions are now destroying the Earth.

    • Kim

Disagree. Fukushima was an accident. There is no way anyone, as corrupted as this world is, would intentionally cause a triple nuclear meltdown. It was negligence on the part of General Electric when the site to construct these reactors was decided upon.

It’s a fact that after the meltdowns, TEPCO, in collusion with the Japanese government, engaged in a cover up. They are still trying to cover it up.

      • Randa

You need to do a bit more research. This was planned and TEPCO (and the Japanese government) were hired thugs. It is ludicrous to think that this was not their plan since it’s been over 2 years and nothing has been done.

        • dll

I agree with Kim (smart cookie). While I agree the after effects are being covered-up by government(s) it is not possible that a conspiracy could be involved in the creation of the
earthquake and tsunami that triggered the disaster.

          • Kim

            Agreed.

          • Stophypocrisy

There was a story that an Israeli security company planted explosive devices to go off during an earthquake because Japan sided with Palestine and Israel wanted payback but no one is going to escape this one and they couldn’t be that stupid. We Could have had a chance to contain the threat in the beginning but TEPCO covered up the extent of the damage and now it’s to late.

          • Paul Barbara

Israeli Security Firm Magma was in charge of Security at Fukushima. There is speculation that they installed a ‘mini-nuke’ in the guise of a ‘specialised camera’ in one of the sites, as a response to Japan openly siding with the Palestinians, and also for offering to reprocess Iranian nuclear fuel (see Henry Makow: ‘The Argument that Fukushima Was Sabotaged’).

        • Kim

TEPCO is in it for the money (hence the cover up- they desperately want to restart reactors 5 and 6) and Japan is seriously cash-strapped. These power plants were a source of income for both–they wouldn’t harm their golden goose. And while earthquakes are very common, it’s not possible to forecast one.

That said, I wouldn’t put it past any government to plan an extermination of its own people. But I don’t think Fukushima was planned.

          • BillClinton

Do you think it is natural for Planet Earth to experience two massive tsunami producing earthquakes in a 6 year period?

          • Tim

Kim you need to do a little research about HAARP and man-made earthquakes.

          • JMOLY

Yeah I would definitely put more research into HAARP. Look into both the USA and USSR HAARP facilities. Also, the ability to create man-made earthquakes has been around since Nikola Tesla.. That’s 70+ years to improve upon the technology and to better disguise it.

      • Travisq

there is a concerted effort to let this slide , to cover up the masses attention so we dont get nervous and start a massive economic collapse, also im sure those with the purse strings are somehow using this to their advantage of thinning out the dissenters

Kim, with all due respect..have you heard of agenda 21? It’s as if we are being attracted on all sides…macondo well in the gulf, super storm Sandy, Fuku. I believe these are no accidents. We are all in big trouble. Now is the time for all good men/women to come to the aid of their country!!!

        • Kim

I have heard of agenda 21.

  • Alvin

This situation reminds me of the classic movie, On The Beach, with Gregory Peck and Ava Gardner, about the aftermath of a nuclear accident that spread deadly radiation around the world, reaching Australia last…. There must be some evil conspiracy to kill the world’s population by allowing this disaster to continue for 3 years… All the technology we have and we are allowing a clearly overwhelmed and corrupt corporation in Japan to go it alone? Perhaps General Electric, which designed those reactors doesn’t want the world knowing that there are similar reactors being used right here in the good old USA…. And any of those go bad… God help us!!

    • WhatWillYouDoWithoutFreedom

That evil is called Agenda 21 and its been around for a long time.

How did we let almost 3 years slip away trying to convince people to take precautions. We have been eating, drinking, bathing in and walking around, playing and working in the radiation for almost 3 years now. Nobody has warned us by now, they will never warn us. Truth is something could have been done in 2011 to stop this catastrophe (capping it). Something could have been done in 2012 to stop this. Something could have been done in 2013 to stop this.

But after the last EQ a few months ago, it has become impossible to do anything to stop the Fukushima ELE.

Furthermore, it is not just Fukushima. The nuclear testing done in USA a few decades ago caused unbelievable radioactive radiation release which sickened many, many human beings. And the 100+ nuclear power plants that are operating today are leaking constantly.

This article was just posted today: http://politicalblindspot.com/government-orders-14-million-doses-of-potassium-iodide/. Clearly there is a serious cause for concern if our government is ordering 14 million doses of potassium iodide, which protects the body from radiation poisoning. Although the media and government tries to ensure us everything is okay, they obviously know something they aren’t sharing.

The problem in Japan at the Fukashima power plant nuclear site is that the problem has not been resolved. Because of these meltdowns the radioactivity is still too high to get a hold on securing the spent fuel rods, and the waste water of trying to keep everything cool is causing the leaks which have been on going for years. There unfortunately could be more explosions there if they can’t find a way to secure all the radioactive material.

  • mike

Do you think that this could have been avoided had Nicola Tesla not been shut out of the electricity “game” ? For want of money and power all will suffer.

  • Savvy Dee

the media doesn’t HAVE to lie to you. you can just get the actual reports from Tepco, the group of technicians responsible for maintaining the almost-meltdown.

websites like this offer little sourcing but a whole lot of huge wild claims, all of which require you to put absolute trust in this unreputable website built by people who probably don’t have any qualifications in any of the things they’re talking about, and absolutely no trust in the people that are actually there right now and dealing with this problem. there is absolutely no hard scientific evidence that radiation from Fukushima is attacking our country. it CERTAINLY wouldn’t be that far spread across the entire country, all the way from Japan, in the relatively small concentrations that actually spilled into the ocean, after being swept across tide and current. the facts just don’t support this idea unless you believe that every single report by every actual scientific and professional organization on Fukushima is a lie. which is a pretty broad brush to paint with, if you ask me.

    • Savvy Dee

oh and pardon me if i’m having trouble trusting a website that tries to sell “radiation antidotes”.

    • K

How much are you paid to post this nonsense? First they build it on a fault zone. Then they put the backup generators where a tidal wave easily destroys them. Then they sit on their hands for 2 1/2 years, accomplishing nothing. Now suddenly, just before the radiation really start coming ashore, they find a radioactive old navy dump sight off San Francisco. How convenient, guess all the radiation coming ashore will be blamed on that. Because Japan is so far away. Remember all that radioactive water could have been contained in Japan. They did not want to spend that much on the huge tanks, it would have taken. Nor damage that much of their own countryside. So it was easier and cheaper to dump it in the pacific.

  • Art Granda

What’s the difference between a coal-fired power station and a nuclear one? The coal-fired station pollutes the world even when it’s in perfect working order.

The world’s automobiles exhaust more waste products per day than all of the world’s nuclear power plants do, per volume per year.

The world’s nuclear plants, and there are many, continue to operate safely and efficiently day to day, producing an incredibly small amount of waste for the energy they return. The waste is easily handled and returned to whence it came, but for the howls of protest from people not even as smart as you.

Many think radiation is communicable … That a small quantity released into the wild can grow into a world-threatening problem, like a deadly virus. This cannot be further from the truth.

There were no meltdowns at Fukushima. Once the moderators are in place the cascading fission stops. Meltdown is not possible even with no coolant at all. Jesus this is how these things are designed from the get go. Once the first registered tremor hit the monitors, the plant went into shutdown, as designed.

    Fukushima
    Meltdowns: Global Denial At Work

    By
    William Boardman – Reader
    Supported News

    Does
anyone in authority anywhere tell the truth about Fukushima?

    If there is any government
or non-government authority in the world that is addressing the disaster at
Fukushima openly, directly, honestly, and effectively, it’s not apparent to the
outside observer what entity that might be.

    There
is instead an apparent global conspiracy of authorities of all sorts to deny to
the public reliably accurate, comprehensible, independently verifiable (where
possible), and comprehensive information about not only the condition of the
Fukushima power plant itself and its surrounding communities, but about the
unceasing, uncontrolled release of radioactive debris into the air and water,
creating a constantly increasing risk of growing harm to the global
    community.

    While
the risk may still be miniscule in most places, the range of risk rises to
lethal in Fukushima itself. With the radioactive waste of four nuclear reactors
(three of them in meltdown) under uncertain control for almost three years now,
the risk of lethal exposure is very real for plant workers, and may decrease
with distance from the plant, but may be calculable for anyone on the planet.
No one seems to know. No one seems to have done the calculation. No one with
access to the necessary information (assuming it exists) seems to want to do
    the calculation.

    There
is no moral excuse for this international collusion. The excuses are political
or economic or social, but none of them excuses any authority for withholding
or lying about information that has potentially universal and destructive
impact on everyone alive today and everyone to be born for some unknown
    generations.

Japanese authorities may be the worst current
offenders against the truth, as well as the health and safety of their people.
Now the Japanese government has passed a harsh state secrets law that threatens to reduce or
eliminate reliable information about Fukushima. The U.S. government officially
applauded this heightened secrecy, while continuing its own tight control on
nuclear information. Japanese authorities are already attacking their own people in defense of
nuclear power: not only under-measuring and ignoring varieties of radioactive
threat, but even withholding the iodine pills in 2011 that might have mitigated
the growing epidemic of thyroid issues today. Failing to confront Fukushima
honestly, the Japanese are laying the basis for what could amount to a
radiological sneak attack on the rest of the world.

    Just
because no one seems to know what to do about Fukushima is no excuse to go on
lying about and/or denying the dimensions of reality, whatever they might be.

    There
are hundreds, probably thousands of people with little or no authority who have
long struggled to create a realistic, rational perspective on nuclear
threats. The fundamental barrier to knowing the scale of the Fukushima
disaster is just that: the scale of the Fukushima disaster.

    Chernobyl
1986 and Fukushima 2011 are not really comparable

Chernobyl is the closest precedent to
Fukushima, and it’s not very close. Chernobyl at the time of the 1986 electric
failure and explosion had four operating reactors and two more under
construction. The Chernobyl accident involved one reactor meltdown. Other
reactors kept operating for some time after the accident. The rector meltdown
was eventually entombed, containing the meltdown and reducing the risk. Until
Fukushima, Chernobyl was considered the worst nuclear power accident in
history, and it is still far from over (albeit largely contained for the time
being). The Chernobyl Exclusion Zone of roughly 1,000 square miles
remains one of the most radioactive areas in the world and the clean-up is not
even expected to be complete before 2065.

    At
the time of the March 11, 2011, earthquake and tsunami, the Fukushima plant had six operating reactors.
Three of them went into meltdown and a fourth was left with a heavily laden
fuel pool teetering a hundred feet above the ground. Two other reactors were
undamaged and have been shut down. Radiation levels remain
lethal in each of the melted-down reactors, where the meltdowns appear to be
held in check by water that is pumped into the reactors to keep them cool. In
the process, the water gets irradiated and that which is not collected on site
in leaking tanks flows steadily into the Pacific Ocean. Within the first two
weeks, Fukushima radiation was comparable to
Chernobyl’s and while the levels have gone down, they remain elevated.

    The
plant’s corporate owner, Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), in turn
effectively owned by the Japanese government after a2012 nationalization, began removing more than
1,500 fuel rod assemblies from the teetering fuel
pool in November, a delicate process expected to take a year or more. There are
additional fuel pools attached to each of the melted down reactors and a much
larger general fuel pool, all of which contain nuclear fuel rod assemblies that
are secure only as long as TEPCO continues to cool them. The Fukushima
Exclusion Zone, a 12-mile radius around the nuclear plant, is about 500 square
miles (much of it ocean); little specific information about the exclusion zone
is easily available, but media coverage in the form of disaster tourism is plentiful, including a Google Street View interactive
    display.

    Despite
their significant differences as disasters, Chernobyl and Fukushima are both
rated at 7 – a “major accident” on the International Nuclear Event Scale designed in 1990 by the
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). That is the highest rating on the
scale, a reflection of the inherent denial that colors most official nuclear
thinking. Designed by nuclear “experts” after Chernobyl, the scale can’t
imagine a worse accident than Chernobyl which, for all its intensity, was
effectively over as an accident in a relatively short period of time. At
Fukushima, by contrast, the initial set of events was less acute than
Chernobyl, but almost three years later they continue without any resolution
likely soon. Additionally Fukushima has three reactor meltdowns and thousands
of precarious fuel rod assemblies in uncertain pools, any of which could
produce a new crisis that would put Fukushima clearly off the scale.

    And
then there’s groundwater. Groundwater was not a problem at Chernobyl.
Groundwater is a huge problem at the Fukushima plant that was built at the
seashore, on a former riverbed, over an active aquifer. In a short video, nuclear engineer Arnie Gunderson
makes clear why groundwater makes Fukushima so hard to clean up, and why
radiation levels there will likely remain dangerous for another hundred years.

    Fukushima
Unit #3 activity led to some panic-driven reporting in 2013

    The
Japanese government and nuclear power industry have a history of not telling
the truth about nuclear accidents dating back at least to 1995, as reported by New Scientist
    and Rachel Maddow,
    among others.
Despite Japan’s history of nuclear dishonesty, Japanese authorities remain in
total control of the Fukushima site and most of the information about it,
without significant objection from most of the world’s governments, media, and
other power brokers, whose reputation for honesty in nuclear matters is almost
as bad as Japan’s. In such a context of no context, the public is vulnerable to
reports like this from the Turner Radio
    Network (TRN) on December 28:

    ** NEWS FLASH – URGENT ** STEAM
SUDDENLY EMANATING FROM FUKUSHIMA REACTOR # 3 – WEST COAST OF NORTH AMERICA
SHOULD BEGIN PREPARATIONS FOR POSSIBLE RADIATION CLOUD WITHIN 3 TO 5 DAYS

    Five
days after this story was posted, the “radiation cloud” had not developed
despite the story’s assertion that: “Experts say this could be the beginning
of a ‘spent fuel pool criticality (meltdown)’ involving up to 89 TONS of
nuclear fuel burning up into the atmosphere and heading to North America.” The
story named no “experts” and provided links only to TEPCO announcements in
Japanese. The bulk of the story reads like an infomercial for “protective” gear
of various sorts that TRN makes a point of saying it does NOT sell.
Despite such obvious warning signs, others – such as The Ecologist and Gizmodo – reported the threat of “another
meltdown” at Fukushima Unit #3 as imminent.

    Clarification
and reassurance quickly started chasing the “new meltdown” rumor around the
Internet. ENENEWS (Energy News) promptly posted the
TEPCO reports in English, demonstrating that there was nothing “sudden” about
the steam releases, they’ve been happening more or less daily since 2011, but
condensation caused by cold weather makes them visible. At FAIREWINDS (Energy Education), Arnie Gunderson
    posted on January 1:

    “…
the Internet has been flooded with conjecture claiming that Fukushima Daiichi
Unit 3 is ready to explode…. Our research, and discussions with other scientists,
confirms that what we are seeing is a phenomenon that has been occurring at the
Daiichi site since the March 2011 accident…. While the plants are shutdown in
nuke speak, there is no method of achieving cold shut down in any nuclear
reactor. While the reactor can stop generating the actual nuclear chain
reaction, the atoms left over from the original nuclear chain reaction continue
to give off heat that is called the decay of the radioactive rubble (fission
products)…. constantly releasing moisture (steam) and radioactive products
    into the environment.” [emphasis added]

    In
other words, Fukushima Unit #3 continues to leak radioactivity into both air
and water, as Units #1 and #2 presumably do as well. But as Gunderson explains,
the level of radioactivity has declined sharply without becoming benign:

    “When
Unit 3 was operating, it was producing more than 2,000 megawatts of heat from
the nuclear fission process (chain reaction in the reactor). Immediately after
the earthquake and tsunami, it shut down and the chain reaction stopped, but
Unit 3 was still producing about 160 megawatts of decay heat. Now, 30 months
later, it is still producing slightly less than 1 megawatt (one million watts)
of decay heat…. 1 megawatt of decay heat is a lot of heat even today, and it is
creating radioactive steam, but it is not a new phenomenon.”

    Reassurances
about Fukushima are as misleading as scare stories

    The
reassuring aspects of the condition of Unit #3 – radioactive releases are not
new, they’re less intense than they once were, the nuclear waste is cooling –
while true enough, provide only a false sense of comfort. Also true: radiation
is released almost continuously, the releases are uncontrolled, no one seems to
be measuring the releases, no one seems to be tracking the releases, no one is
assessing accumulation of the releases. And while it’s true that the waste is
cooling and decaying, it’s also true that a loss of coolant could lead to
another uncontrolled chain reaction. (“Fukushima Daiichi Unit 3 is not going to
explode,” says Gunderson in a headline, but he can’t know that with certainty.)

    For
the near future, what all that means, in effect, is that the world has to
accept chronic radiation releases from Fukushima as the price for avoiding
another catastrophic release. And even then, it’s not a sure thing.

    But
there’s another aspect of Fukushima Unit #3 that’s even less reassuring. Unit
#3 is the one Fukushima reactor that was running on Mixed oxide fuel, or MOX
fuel, in its fuel rods. MOX fuel typically uses Plutonium mixed with
one or more forms of Uranium. Using Plutonium
in fuel rods adds to their toxicity in the event of a meltdown. In part because
Plutonium-239 has a half-life of 240,000 years and can be used to make nuclear
weapons of “dirty bombs,” its use in commercial reactors remains both limited
and controversial. Because it contains Plutonium,
MOX fuel is more toxic than other nuclear fuel and will
burn at lower temperatures. As Natural Resources News reported in 2011:

    “The
mixed oxide fuel rods used in the compromised number three reactor at the
Fukushima Daiichi complex contain enough plutonium to threaten public health
with the possibility of inhalation of airborne plutonium particles…. Plutonium
is at its most dangerous when it is inhaled and gets into the lungs. The effect
on the human body is to vastly increase the chance of developing fatal
    cancers.”

    Reportedly,
TEPCO plans don’t call for the removal of the MOX fuel in Unit #3 for another
decade or more. Fuel removal from Units #1, #2, and #3 is
complicated by lethal radiation levels at all three reactors, as well as
TEPCO’s inability so far to locate the three melted
    cores with any precision.

    There
is ample reason to hope that Fukushima, despite the complex of uncontrollable
and deteriorating factors, will not get worse, because even the Japanese don’t
want that. But there is little reason to expect anything but worsening
conditions, slowly or suddenly, for years and years to come. And there is even
less reason to expect anyone in authority anywhere to be more than minimally
and belatedly truthful about an industry they continue to protect, no matter
how many people it damages or kills.

    The
perfect paradigm of that ruthlessly cynical nuclear mentality is the current
Japanese practice of recruiting homeless people to work at
Fukushima in high level radiation areas where someone with something to lose
might not be willing to go for minimum wage.

Can it not just be shut down??
Sorry if that sounds dumb… I don’t really know much about Nuclear stuff except that radiation is bad…

As of early January, scientists discovered the eagles in Utah are being taken down by the West Nile virus. They are ingesting it from a certain fresh water bird they hunt. I can’t remember which bird it is but you can look it up. The environment is in trouble, in a million ways. There is plenty to be worried and educated about.

    • lol

So how are the fish getting it if there are no mosquitoes to give them the virus?

I know it’s difficult for Americans to use critical thinking, but come on..

      • Birther 2.0

Is this a joke? How are the fish getting what?

  • John smith

Without citing your source’s this is all make belive misinformation. If all these birds are dropping dead show me the original news article. This is just another fear mongering article.

  • HOORAH

Would a 300 Megaton Airburst directly over Fukushima would limit further leakage/contamination? And how quickly can the Japanese pack-up and leave?

  • Hammerstrike

“#7 Huge numbers of dead birds are dropping dead and washing up along the coastlines of Alaska. It is being reported that many of the carcases of the dead birds are “broken open and bleeding”.”

Which is just not something radiations does…

since the global warming thing is fading away now, is this the new one? Maybe more rules, regulations, and taxes will keep us all safe from this one, too?

  • Sandbagger

I predict a boom in inland fish farms.

Large saltwater farms that have various climate-controlled tanks for clams, crab, etc.

Unfortunately, unless they are fed what they are supposed to eat–instead of GMO grains, soy and the like–they won’t have much value either.

When I was a teenager I went to Japan and worked with an exchange program. I have friends out there that I love very much . When I think of their beautiful island totally radioactive and they are still on it, I feel such sorrow it is impossible to communicate

I read an artical that said Israel put a nuclear bomb in reactor 4 disguised as a camera. They had a security contract which allowed the access to the heart of the plant. They also used a computer virus called Stuxnet, to overide automatic safety systems, such as cooling pumps. #4 reactor isn’t even in the building anymore. It has been completely blown away. Including its fuel rods. Israel did this because Japan agreed to help Iran with enrichment. The tsunami was caused by a nuclear device planted of the coast of Japan, near the trench. There is said to be five more, which threatens Japan enough to keep them from speaking about what they know. The containment walls in those buildings were 8 to 12 feet thick. It would be able to contain ANY hydrogen blast. Hydrogen blasts dont cause mushroom clouds either, but nukes do. There are hydrogen stacks at fukashima to vent excess. Look at video of the tsunami coming in, you will see no damage to any buildings. Much less evidence of a so called 9.0 quake.

What i find absolutely maddening, is the lies and obsession about global warming. how these hypocritical environmentalists want to tell us how much hot water to consume and which kind of vehicles to drive when radiation isn’t just a gradual threat…ITS ALREADY HERE. So where is Al Gore and the Agenda 21 mobs?? They hype lies. they cover up the truth. That is the media’s job. Screw them. always believe the opposite of what they say. Their handlers are trying to buy as much time until the people start waking up. the elite probably planned on fukushima spill so they can pose as saviors with iodine…but it wont be iodine..itll be more poison just like everything around us.

This author is trying to scare you into buying his books! Hello? Come on, don’t be so gullible, folks.

to get Tepco to admit these truths is amazing, although whatever they admit to, I’d double it.

Too bad nothing written here is verified by actual scientific evidence or proof that it came from Japan. Just saying.

    Boo!
