President Obama donned his golf clothes this week for an outing at Mamala Bay Golf Course at Hickam Air Force Base in Honolulu this week, but it wasn't loud golf pants that had eyebrows raised. Along with White House travel director Marvin Nicholson, the president's group included his childhood friend Robert “Bobby” Titcomb, who was arrested by police in Honolulu for soliciting prostitution back in the spring.

This is not the first time Obama has golfed with Titcomb since taking office. Titcomb, who went to school with Obama at Punahou School in Honolulu during the 1970s, was a guest at the White House in August 2010 when the president celebrated his birthday. The birthday festivities included a round of golf at Andrews Air Force Base for the president and a few intimate friends, followed by a barbeque at the White House. Titcomb, considered one of Obama's closest friends, was present for both activities.

However, this week's outing marked the first time Titcomb has appeared in public with the president since the alleged incident occurred in April. At the time, Titcomb was one of four people who were caught up in an undercover prostitution sting orchestrated by Honolulu police. Titcomb has not been convicted of any wrongdoing.

Titcomb, who is a commercial fisherman and an airline employee, has been a close friend of the president since their youth together, and has always maintained a close relationship with the Obama family. The family’s Christmas vacations in Hawaii traditionally include a full day of jet-skiing, volleyball and grilling out with Titcomb at his North Shore home. This past December, the president, along with the first lady and their daughters, stayed at Titcomb's home for almost an entire day, and Titcomb is often a welcome guest at the golf and basketball outings Obama schedules for his Hawaii trips.

Titcomb was a featured speaker at a ceremony at Punahou School that honored the president. “He’s honest, he’s truthful and he’s always encouraged the better things in you," Titcomb said at the event. "And you always go back to those people who water your plant. Who water your garden.”

It turns out that a lot of pro-Obama organizations ended up receiving a lot of "economic stimulus" money.  For example, it is being reported that the Obama administration gave General Electric $24.9 million in grants under the stimulus law.  Keep in mind that General Electric was the corporate owner of NBC, MSNBC and CNBC during the 2008 election.  These various news outlets were absolutely shameless when it came to promoting Barack Obama during the 2008 election.  In fact, MSNBC was more radically pro-Obama than even CNN was (and that is saying a lot).  Apparently Barack Obama was quite grateful for all the help.  25 million dollars is one heck of a tremendous thank you gift.  General Electric was the primary recipient of 14 separate economic stimulus grants.  In addition, the recipients of four other economic stimulus grants hired GE as a contractor.  So is this the way that the game of politics is played in 2010?  Sadly, the truth is that this is how the game of politics has been played for decades in this country. 

It isn't as if GE isn't doing well.  According to Standard & Poor's, GE had $156 billion in revenue during 2009.  But we all knew that the "economic stimulus" money wasn't really about stimulating the economy, didn't we?

A big percentage of the economic stimulus money went for the pet projects of individual members of Congress and for "payback" to those who helped Obama and other Democrats get elected.

So we shouldn't be surprised that GE was handed 25 million dollars.  This is the way the world works now.

The truth is that MSNBC could be aptly renamed "The Obama News Network".  They are perhaps the most clearly partisan news channel that the U.S. has ever seen....

Liberals whine and moan constantly about the supposed "conservative bias" on Fox News, and yet they have no problem with the extreme liberal bias on MSNBC, CNBC and NBC News. 

If George W. Bush had tried to hand Rupert Murdoch 25 million dollars the liberals would have yelled and screamed about it for years.

But when Barack Obama hands his friends at General Electric 25 million dollars hardly anyone notices.

The truth is that both political parties are deeply corrupt and the way that the game of politics is played in this country needs to be seriously reformed.

The Obama administration has big plans to "reshape" the way news is delivered in the United States.  The truth is that whenever the far left takes control in a nation, they simply cannot resist trying to manipulate and control the media.  Whether it is socialists (the Nazis for example) or whether it is communists (the old USSR for example), history has taught us that freedom of the press is always endangered whenever leftist radicals gain power.  Unfortunately, the far left has control of the White House and the U.S. Congress today, and they are getting ready to make their move.

Well, so what are their plans?

First of all, they want to prop up the liberal-dominated mainstream media and newspapers.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Obama administration is conducting "a major internal study" intended to design a major government rescue plan for America's newspapers.

So why not let newspapers that nobody wants to read anymore simply die?

Well, that is just not the "liberal" way.

After all, most of those newspapers constantly spew liberal propaganda.

So what are some of the proposals in this major internal study?

Well, according to the Los Angeles Times, the following proposals are being considered....

*Major changes to the copyright law, including government licensing provisions

*Government pilot programs to investigate potential new media business models

*Antitrust changes to allow media companies to unite on imposing online pay walls

*Establishing a journalism division of AmeriCorps with government underwriting the training of young journalists

*Tax incentives per news employee

*Increased funding of public broadcasting

*A 5% tax on consumer electronics and assessments on users of public airwaves

*Allowing taxpayers to direct a portion of their taxes to a specific media institution as payment for media services rendered

Perhaps you read those proposals and you think that they are utter insanity.

Well, the truth is that we live in insane times.

Secondly, the Obama administration is looking for ways that they can get away with shutting down conservative and libertarian news outlets.

There have been a number of suggestions from officials in the Obama administration that the "Fairness Doctrine" should be resurrected in one form or another.

Implementing the "Fairness Doctrine"  would mean that conservative radio shows, television broadcasts and Internet sites would have to give "equal time" to liberal points of view.

Of course liberal sites and broadcasts would likely not see much enforcement against them since they would be considered to be so "balanced" and "reasonable" already.

But even if the "Fairness Doctrine" is not brought back to life, liberals are looking for many other ways to "regulate" what we see and hear.

In fact, a coalition of more than 30 far left organizations recently sent a letter to the FCC arguing that the Internet has made it harder for the public to separate "the facts" from "bigotry masquerading as news".

Of course they define "bigotry" as anything that disagrees with Barack Obama.

The truth is that the liberals working for the Obama administration are evaluating what they can legally get away with in terms of media censorship. 

The temptation is far too great for them to resist.

They simply cannot leave well enough alone.

So we are likely to see an increasing number of attempts to "regulate" speech on the radio, television and Internet for the "good" of the American people.

As you read this, there are not enough doctors and hospitals for everyone in America.  But thanks to the health care bill that Barack Obama and the Democrats rammed down the throats of the American people, that shortage is about to get a whole lot worse.  The truth is that the new health care law is going to force many doctors out of the system and it is already forcing the cancellation of many planned doctor-owned hospitals.  What you are going to read below will frighten you.  It should.  It is the truth and it isn't pretty.  The U.S. health care system is about to undergo a radical transformation, and a lot of people are going to be really upset about what happens.

Even without the new health care law, the U.S. medical industry was already looking at a shortage of doctors in the coming years.  According to the Association of American Medical Colleges, the United States will likely face a shortage of as many as 150,000 doctors in the next 15 years.

But that shortage does not even factor in the large number of doctors that are going to leave the industry because of the new health care law.

According to a survey published in a recent issue of the New England Journal of Medicine, nearly one-third of all practicing physicians in the United States may leave the medical profession because of the health care legislation that was just passed.

Perhaps the politicians in Washington should have listened to what the doctors had to say before they passed the health care bill.

But they didn't.

Now large number of doctors may start retiring in droves.

According to an IBD/TIPP poll of American doctors, the situation is even worse.  That survey indicated that 45 percent of U.S. doctors would consider shutting down their practices or retiring if the health care bill became law.

Just think about that.

That number is mind blowing.

Currently, there are about 960,000 doctors practicing medicine in the United States.  If a third of them DID decide to retire or quit when Obama's health care law is fully implemented, that would mean that 320,000 doctors would suddenly leave the U.S. health care system.

Now hopefully things will not be that bad in reality, but even if 100,000 doctors leave the system, it is going to cause a shortage of unprecedented magnitude.

But it is not just a shortage of doctors that we will all be facing.

The new health care law that was supposed to give all Americans much better health care is actually forcing the cancellation of at least 60 doctor-owned hospitals that were scheduled for opening according to the executive director of Physician Hospitals of America.

Why is that the case?

Well, it turns out that the new health care law singles out doctor-owned hospitals, making new physician-owned projects ineligible to receive federal payments for Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Without those payments, the new doctor-owned hospitals are not feasible.

The new health care bill has been the law of the land for just a few weeks and it has already forced the cancellation of at least 60 hospitals.

Isn't that just great?

What a wonderful new health care system we all have!

If we are not careful, we are going to destroy what was once the greatest health care system in the world.

What in the world is happening to America?

The cartoon posted below may have seemed incredibly far-fetched back in 1948, but it is incredibly timely today.  It is a very well-produced little cartoon that warns children about the great dangers of socialism and communism.  Of course there was no chance that the United States would turn to socialism in 1948, but today that has all changed.  Barack Obama, his supporters, and the Democratic Party are marching the United States right down the road to socialism.  In fact, 63 percent of all Republicans believe that Barack Obama is a socialist.  And, well, the truth is that Barack Obama is a socialist.

But he is far from alone.  The United States has become a nation full of socialists.  In fact, Newsweek ran a cover article a while back entitled "We Are All Socialists Now".  While that is a bit of an exaggeration, the truth is that we all need to wake up and reclaim what once made this country great. 

Perhaps if every single Obama supporter would watch this cartoon from 1948, that would be one huge step in the right direction....
