The 2010 elections are quickly becoming the most anticipated mid-term elections in modern American history. A little over a year ago, the American people gave the Democrats control of the House, the Senate and the White House. But now public opinion has swung dramatically against the Democrats.

Why?

As the video posted below explains, the American people are sick of the bailouts, sick of the spending, sick of the government takeovers, sick of the unemployment, sick of the corruption, sick of the socialism and sick of politicians not listening to concerns about health care reform.

The video below is very powerful and it has been viewed on YouTube tens of thousands of times. There is nothing offensive in it, but it has already been yanked down off of YouTube several times.

Why has it been yanked down? Your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps people don't like hearing the truth.

The reality is that American voters are angrier than at any other point in modern times, and it looks like 2010 is going to be a really, really bad year for the Democrats....

But will the Republicans do any better if they get power?

After all, the reckless spending and expansion of government by the Bush administration got us into the position we are today.  Bush backed the bailouts and the government takeovers too.  In many ways, the Obama administration is just continuing the policies that the Bush administration started.  The truth is that the Bush administration was one of the most liberal administrations that the U.S. has ever had when you take an honest look at the issues.

So if the American people just end up voting in a bunch of George W. Bush clones, that is not going to solve much of anything.

The truth is that both parties are controlled by the establishment to such a degree that it is virtually impossible for the American people to change the course of the nation at the voting box anymore.  No matter who gets voted in, it just seems like things keep going the same way.

Hopefully the tea party movement can result in some real conservatives getting voted into Congress in 2010.  But it is high time that we all realize that the vast majority of the politicians in both parties are owned and bankrolled by the establishment, and not much is going to change until that does.

The Obama administration has decided that Barack Obama can break any law he signs if Obama decides that the law in not constitutional and that he can do this whenever he wants and that he does not even have to tell anyone what he is doing.  Seriously.  At least George W. Bush informed that American people that he intended to break the laws that he was signing by including a "signing statement" when he objected to something in a bill.  As bad and as unconstitutional as that was, now the Obama administration is taking things to a whole new level by saying that even if Barack Obama signs a bill into law, the Obama administration can still break any law in that bill if the Obama administration decides that it is an "unconstitutional" limit on Obama's power.

In essence this bring the United States even closer to a dictatorship.

If the president has the ultimate power to decide what is and what is not constitutional, and if the president also has the power to break any laws that he does not feel are constitutional, then the reality is that there are very few limits on his power.  The only limit is essentially how big of an imagination he has.

While Bush was in office, he challenged about 1,200 sections of bills, and Barack Obama continued this "signing statement" pattern during his first few months.

However, Obama has not issued a signing statement since last summer.  Last June, Obama issued a signing statement that claimed that he could openly disobey a new law requiring administration officials to push the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund to adopt certain policies that Congress wanted.

That signing statement sparked a tremendous backlash on Capitol Hill.

Since then, the Obama administration has decided that instead of issuing signing statements, Obama will just ignore the provisions of any bill that the Obama administration believes are unconstitutional.

For example, the Obama administration has flatly disregarded a new law passed by Congress that forbids State Department officials from attending United Nations meetings led by nations deemed to be state sponsors of terrorism.

So now Obama gets to essentially have his cake and eat it too.

He can sign into law the various bills sent to him by Congress but can also ignore anything in them that he does not want to follow himself.

So can anything be done about this?

The truth is that this type of thing could quickly escalate into a constitutional crisis.  But with the Democrats in charge of both Congress and the White House, the odds of Congress complaining to the Supreme Court about what Obama is doing are so low as to not even be worth mentioning.

So for right now at least, Barack Obama will get to continue to openly break many of the laws that he is signing and nothing will be done about it.

Barack Obama has made a guarantee. During an interview with ABC's Charles Gibson, Obama guaranteed that the U.S. federal government will go bankrupt if the health care reform bill he is pushing does not get passed. Of course he failed to mention that the health care reform bill will actually cost U.S. taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars in the coming years. Where in the world is all of that money going to come from?

The health care bill Barack Obama is trying to ram through Congress does virtually nothing to reduce the countless millions that doctors, lawyers, pharmaceutical companies and health insurance companies are greedily raking in. Instead, it seeks to find savings by pushing "efficiency" and by cutting out "unnecessary procedures". In other words, federal officials will decide what medical procedures are "cost effective" and which ones are not.

Meanwhile, Representative Michele Bachmann is warning that this health care reform bill will be “the largest middle-class tax increase in American history” and will represent a huge step towards socialized medicine.

And she is right.

But that is not stopping Barack Obama from using whatever scare tactics he can to get this bill rammed through....

But Barack Obama was actually partly right about something.

The truth is that the U.S. government is already basically bankrupt.  It has been caught in an accelerating debt spiral for decades and now things have totally gotten out of control.  Just consider the chart below....

And the reality is that the chart above does not really reflect a lot of the money that went to bail out the financial industry.  The truth is that things are even worse than the chart indicates.

The U.S. government is drowning in red ink, and now we are about to have the Democrats ruthlessly ramrod a health care bill that will cost hundreds of millions of dollars down the throats of the American taxpayers.

What a mess we have on our hands.

Shocking photographs have been revealed that prove that Barack Obama knew the "White House party crashers" Tareq Salahi and Michaele Salahi even before he was elected president.  The most stunning photograph, posted below, shows "president-elect" Barack Obama posing with the Salahis and other celebrities at the 12th annual Rock the Vote awards on June 9th, 2005.  The other photograph shows the Salahis sitting in Barack Obama's box at the Lincoln Memorial on Inaguration Day.  In light of these photographs, how can Barack Obama deny having a close relationship with them?

This first photograph was posted on polocontacts.com on November 26, 2008.  It is from the night of the 12th annual Rock the Vote awards on June 9th, 2005.  The caption of the picture on that website reads as follows.....

"Others pictured are Black Eyed Peas Rock Band; Tareq Salahi the President of the America’s Polo Cup; President Elect Obama, Fergie from Black eyed Peas and Michaele Salahi, posing this time as a former Miss USA and SuperModel."

So we are still supposed to believe that Barack Obama did not know the Salahis?

One thing that we do know about Tareq Salahi is that he is a former member of The American Task Force on Palestine.  Even though The American Task Force on Palestine has scrubbed all references to Salahi on its website, reference to him can still be found on Google cache.

As far as Michaele Salahi goes, who knows what to believe.  Apparently she has claimed to be a former cheerleader for the Washington Redskins, a former model for Victoria’s Secret and a former Miss USA.

But what we do know is that these folks are very good at getting around town and posing with celebrities.

In fact, this next picture is of Tariq and Michaele Salahi sitting in President Obama's Box at the Lincoln Memorial on Inaguration Day.....

So in light of all this, how can it continue to be denied that Barack Obama had a friendship with the Salahis even before he became president?
