According to a survey conducted a while back by the National Geographic Society, only 37 percent of all Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 can find the nation of Iraq on a map of the world.

So how are our young adults supposed to have an informed conversation about what is going on in the world?

Even worse, according to that same National Geographic survey only 50 percent of all Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 can find the state of New York on a map.

So what in the world are they learning all the time that they are sitting in the classrooms of our government schools?

Posted below is a an excerpt from a recent article on The American Dream that is entitled "Dumb As A Rock: You Will Be Absolutely Amazed At The Things That U.S. High School Students Do Not Know". Prepare to be absolutely shocked....

The following are some of the absolutely amazing results of a study conducted a few years ago by Common Core....

*Only 43 percent of all U.S. high school students knew that the Civil War was fought some time between 1850 and 1900.

*More than a quarter of all U.S. high school students thought that Christopher Columbus made his famous voyage across the Atlantic Ocean after the year 1750.

*Approximately a third of all U.S. high school students did not know that the Bill of Rights guarantees freedom of speech and freedom of religion. (This is a topic that I touched on yesterday).

*Only 60 percent of all U.S. students knew that World War I was fought some time between 1900 and 1950.

Even more shocking were the results of a survey of Oklahoma high school students conducted back in 2009. The following is a list of the questions that were asked and the percentage of students that answered correctly....

What is the supreme law of the land? 28 percent

What do we call the first ten amendments to the Constitution? 26 percent

What are the two parts of the U.S. Congress? 27 percent

How many justices are there on the Supreme Court? 10 percent

Who wrote the Declaration of Independence? 14 percent

What ocean is on the east coast of the United States? 61 percent

What are the two major political parties in the United States? 43 percent

We elect a U.S. senator for how many years? 11 percent

Who was the first President of the United States? 23 percent

Who is in charge of the executive branch? 29 percent

Can you believe those numbers?

Is there any doubt that public education in the United States has completely and totally failed?

Before you send your kids to another year of government schooling, I encourage you to watch a documentary that was just released entitled "Indoctrination". It will really open up your eyes to what is really going on in our government schools.

Sadly, we are rapidly falling behind the rest of the world in education. At this point, U.S. 15-year-olds do not even rank in the top half of all industrialized nations when it comes to math and science literacy.

So how do we expect to compete with the rest of the world in the future?

The following video is entitled "Lunch Scholars" and in it a bunch of typical American high school students are asked basic questions about our world today. The ignorance that these high school students display is absolutely frightening. Yes, this will make you laugh, but a very serious point is being made by this video as well....

So what do all of you think about the state of public education in America today? Please feel free to leave a comment with your opinion below....

Texting

So I’m sitting in an average size living room watching a couple of people texting each other rather than carry on a conversation. Isn’t that weird?

Apparently it’s becoming common practice. Texting is everywhere.

Why is it that a growing number of people prefer to text rather than converse, or to make phone calls, or to even leave voice messages?

And why is it that ever since texting has become the preferred one-way method of distance communications (anything beyond 2 feet), no one but old fashioned fools bother to directly answer their phones anymore?

Well I had a hunch but I decided to do a little internet research concerning texting vs. talk. The many comments I read confirmed my suspicions.

Here are some of the top reasons people prefer to text:

"It's more straight and to the point.”

“I can ignore or respond at my own leisure.”

“It is so much more easily accomplished through a few words of text without all the niceties and formalities of a phone call!”

“Texting is direct, to the point without the small talk involved in phone conversation.”

“I hate talking on the phone.”

“I know some people who keep me on the phone way longer that I'd like.”

“If I don't have time to have a full attentive conversation, I have to text.”

“It’s so easy to flirt and exchange small bits of banter. It's playful and possible that someone might find it easier to text risqué thoughts than saying it face to face or on the phone.”

“It's just convenient and quick.”

“I can keep in touch with people who I don't see often but don't want to call.”

“The only con for me with the texting is sarcasm gets taken for seriousness and it offends people. Soooo I gotta watch what I text”

So basically what we have here is a deliberate failure to communicate beyond one-way messages.

“When I text, I just want to bark or whisper my message. I want to make you laugh or smile, but I don’t want to get into anything complex or time consuming. I don’t want to listen to you at least not right now. I want to share something quick, easy, and right at my finger tips.”

I think that what has separated the human race from the animal world is, for one thing, conversation. Ok, and perhaps typing too. But animals call, bark, or scream messages to each other. Animals don’t converse and texting isn’t conversation either. Even IM is a type of conversation because the response time is usually fairly immediate, but some folks take eons to respond to a text. Some don’t even bother to respond.

The irony is that texting is a more primitive form of communication with the aid of a more sophisticated tool. And some very sophisticated tools (phones) will tell on you if you don’t respond soon after you’ve read a message.

So the next time you think about texting remember the subtext your are sending. Consider the inevitable trajectory of this type of communication.

“It’s all about me. That’s what it’s really all about. Me, me, me and what I want when I want it and I really am not interested in what you want when you want it. God forbid that I would have to perform niceties and endure formalities for your sake!

If I called you I’d have to listen to you because you would introduce into the conversation something you wanted to talk about. I just don’t have time for that. Life is too short and I’ve got a really cute Avatar sweetie in Second Life that will do exactly what I want when I want it. And I don’t need to sweet talk or small talk my honey Avatar. So just text me back when you have a chance and it better be important because I’ve got a life! Really I do.”

If you have not seen the video posted below yet, you have got to watch it. Yes, it is extremely funny in one sense, but it is also an incredibly sad commentary on just how far we have fallen as a nation....

So did the fact that Crystal Bowersox lost American Idol really "ruin" this woman's life?

Of course not.

But the truth is that tens of millions of American now live in a false reality where the things that happen in the entertainment world are what really matter, and the fact that the world is literally falling apart around them doesn't really register.

Here is another example of this phenomenon....

A 32 year old Clackamas, Oregon mother recently made a trip with her three year old son to Chips Palace and Restaurant Casino in Lakewood, Washington.

She arrived at the casino at 4 AM, and she decided that her son would be perfectly fine spending the day locked inside her Lincoln Navigator.

Nearly eight hours later, a casino security guard heard the little boy crying. Inside the vehicle he found the little tike with a soiled diaper and only a cup of spoiled milk to sustain him.

Isn't that lovely?

Yes another woman who is extremely unlikely to win Mom of the Year.

But that is what is happening to America.

We are so obsessed with entertaining ourselves that we have lost all touch with reality.

And yet the things that really matter are being totally ignored by tens of millions of Americans that have been completely "zombiefied" by entertainment.

If people want to get upset about something, there are a whole host of crucial national issues that are just screaming for our attention.....

*The U.S. government has piled up the biggest mountain of debt in the history of the world, and yet our "representatives" in Washington D.C. continue to spend money like it is going out of style. What we have done to future generations is absolutely criminal.

*Our health care system has just been obliterated by the U.S. Congress, and we are going to be drowning in a sea of red ink as we try to pay for the bizarre new system that they have created.

*A horde of 30 million illegal aliens have brought a tidal wave of crime, drugs and gang violence with them into our cities and the U.S. government is doing nothing to stop it.

*Our politicians keep telling us how wonderful "free trade" and "the global economy" are while our once great manufacturing cities such as Detroit turn into rusted-out war zones.

*Over 40 million babies have been slaughtered in U.S. abortion mills since 1973, and yet the vast majority of the American people seem perfectly content for the murdering of the unborn to continue.

Yes, those are things that are actually worth getting upset about.

But instead, tens of millions of brain-dead Americans will continue to obsess over every little detail of American Idol and Dancing With The Stars while the Republic continues to crumble.

What a sad nation we have become.

He is raffling off the opportunity to spend a day with him. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Bill Clinton is now a lottery prize.

He has sent an email to millions of people who supported Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2008 that asks this question:

"How would you like the chance to come up to New York and spend the day with me?"

Doesn't that sound cozy?

Reportedly, an online donation of as little as $5 gets you into the lottery.

Considering the fact that Hillary's campaign debt is now down to $771,000, and considering the fact that her campaign has approximately $624,000 in the bank, it is not as if the Clintons need this money so badly.

Or maybe this is just a way for Bill to meet chicks.

In any event, the opportunity to spend a day with Bill Clinton is out there.

I wonder what he would do if a hardcore conservative won?

That could be fun.

You could spend half the day just asking him about the truth regarding the scandals during his administration.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more appealing a day with Bill Clinton sounds.

So if the opportunity came up, sure, I think I would hang out with Bill Clinton for a day.

But I would never give Hillary a dime, so I guess I am out of luck.

But if you are interested, feel free to give the Clintons a donation.

Who knows?

You might get lucky.

Seriously.

Apparently the goal of such a plan would be to raise "tens of billions of dollars" which would then be used to "transfer" pharmaceutical research, development and manufacturing capabilities to the developing world.

Transfer them from where?

Places like the United States?

So let's get this straight.

According to the WHO global tax plan, they want to do the following three things....

#1) Take away research, development and manufacturing jobs from us and give them to the developing world at a time when we can least afford it.

#2) Give much more money and power to the idiots who brought us the global swine flu scare of 2009.

#3) Make us pay for all of it.

The World Health Organization's "Expert Working Group" is also thinking of asking wealthy nations such as the United States to set aside fixed portions of their gross domestic product to finance the shift in worldwide research and development.

What in the world?

No, we do not want a global tax.

No, we do not want to redistribute our wealth.

We've got a big enough debt problem right now without the WHO trying to dip their greedy little fingers into our pockets.

Thanks to Obama and the U.S. Congress we are already flat broke as a nation.

So does anyone think that it is a remotely good idea to give billions of extra U.S. tax dollars to the WHO?

But the truth is that some nations are already taxing their citizens for the benefit of the WHO.

A program known as UNITAID was started in 2006. The goal of UNITAID is to battle HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis around the globe. This program is financed by a "solidarity contribution" levy of anywhere from $1.20 to $58 on airline tickets.

Ouch!

The nations already imposing this tax include France, Brazil, Chile, Norway and the U.K.

Apparently it has already raised around a billion dollars, and the WHO says that more countries are getting involved.

The truth is that this is yet another reason why the United States needs to leave the United Nations.

Not reform it.

Not try to get it to change.

The U.S. needs to pull out of the United Nations and never look back.

Otherwise, there are going to be relentless attempts to impose global taxes, global rules, global regulations and global mandates on the American people.

But we do not want global government.

We never have and we never will.

The Democrats are taxing us dry already. Just how bad would things be if we let a bunch of global bureaucrats dig around in our pockets?

-Benjamin Franklin

It is now official. A majority of Americans are willing to give up liberty in order to be safer from terrorism. A stunning new McClatchy-Ipsos poll has found that 51 percent of Americans agree with this statement: "it is necessary to give up some civil liberties in order to make the country safe from terrorism."

Only 36 percent of those polled agreed with this statement: "some of the government's proposals will go too far in restricting the public's civil liberties."

So are Americans really this stupid?

Have they really been brainwashed into willingly giving up their essential liberties just so they can feel a little safer?

Maybe they have.

After all, a new USA TODAY/Gallup poll says that 78 percent of Americans approve of the new full body scanners that the U.S. government wants to install in all U.S. airports.

So almost 4 out of 5 Americans are perfectly fine with letting airport security officials gawk at their naked bodies just so they can feel a bit safer from terrorists.

How sick is that?

The truth is that when Americans allow themselves to become so wimpy and so fearful that they are willing to throw many of their most important freedoms out the window, those responsible for the terror scares have won.

In fact, Amerika (formerly America) is very quickly becoming a brutal police state where privacy is a thing of the past and where free speech and alternative points of view are openly repressed.

For example, in a 2008 academic paper President Barack Obama's appointee to head the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs advocated "cognitive infiltration" of groups that advocate "conspiracy theories".

Infiltration of groups with alternative viewpoints that the government doesn't like?

Do we live in East Germany?

Apparently we do.

Americans do not care about their freedoms and liberties anymore, so now they are being taken away.

And apparently the message of the most recent polls is that Americans are perfectly fine with that.

The Obama administration has decided that Barack Obama can break any law he signs if Obama decides that the law in not constitutional and that he can do this whenever he wants and that he does not even have to tell anyone what he is doing. Seriously. At least George W. Bush informed that American people that he intended to break the laws that he was signing by including a "signing statement" when he objected to something in a bill. As bad and as unconstitutional as that was, now the Obama administration is taking things to a whole new level by saying that even if Barack Obama signs a bill into law, the Obama administration can still break any law in that bill if the Obama administration decides that it is an "unconstitutional" limit on Obama's power.

In essence this bring the United States even closer to a dictatorship.

If the president has the ultimate power to decide what is and what is not constitutional, and if the president also has the power to break any laws that he does not feel are constitutional, then the reality is that there are very few limits on his power. The only limit is essentially how big of an imagination he has.

While Bush was in office, he challenged about 1,200 sections of bills, and Barack Obama continued this "signing statement" pattern during his first few months.

However, Obama has not issued a signing statement since last summer. Last June, Obama issued a signing statement that claimed that he could openly disobey a new law requiring administration officials to push the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund to adopt certain policies that Congress wanted.

That signing statement sparked a tremendous backlash on Capitol Hill.

Since then, the Obama administration has decided that instead of issuing signing statements, Obama will just ignore the provisions of any bill that the Obama administration believes are unconstitutional.

For example, the Obama administration has flatly disregarded a new law passed by Congress that forbids State Department officials from attending United Nations meetings led by nations deemed to be state sponsors of terrorism.

So now Obama gets to essentially have his cake and eat it too.

He can sign into law the various bills sent to him by Congress but can also ignore anything in them that he does not want to follow himself.

So can anything be done about this?

The truth is that this type of thing could quickly escalate into a constitutional crisis. But with the Democrats in charge of both Congress and the White House, the odds of Congress complaining to the Supreme Court about what Obama is doing are so low as to not even be worth mentioning.

So for right now at least, Barack Obama will get to continue to openly break many of the laws that he is signing and nothing will be done about it.

Welcome to the new Amerika.

Most Americans who support the health care reform bills currently being rammed through Congress believe that this process will result in Americans receiving universal health care that is cheaper, more efficient and that gives all of us more choices. But that is not the case at all. Rather, Americans will soon have much fewer health choices which are much less efficient and for which they will end up paying much more for. In fact, there are a ton of really nasty surprises for the American people in the health care reform bill. The following are 10 of the nastiest of the surprises....

#1) All Americans will be forced to buy health insurance. If you don't like the new system, that is too bad for you. If you don't pay up, you will be heavily fined and you could ultimately end up in prison. There will simply be no escape from participating in this health care system until you die.

#2) Americans will have basically two places from which to get health coverage - either their workplaces or from "insurance exchanges" set up by the government. If you are not employed, you will have one choice.

#3) Americans will have much fewer health plan choices under the new system. The new "insurance exchanges" that the government is setting up will offer four health plan templates that have been mandated by the government. Each plan will contain health benefits that have been specifically dictated by government agencies. You will be forced to pay for the benefits contained in these plans whether you need them or not. So if you will never need substance abuse treatment or prescription drug coverage that is too bad - you will be forced to pay for them.

#4) Americans will be eligible for a federal subsidy to help them buy health insurance, but only if they earn less than 400 percent of the poverty level ($88,200 for a family of four). However, an individual will only be eligible for a subsidy if their employer does not offer health coverage and if that individual purchases a "government-approved" plan from a "government-approved" insurance exchange.

#5) The Congressional Budget Office estimates that a family insurance plan for a typical family of four will cost approximately $15,000 per year when the health care bill comes into full effect in 2016. How do you think most American families will react to that?

#6) The Congressional Budget Office also says that the coverage provisions in the Senate bill will cost the U.S. government $200 billion annually by 2019 and that these costs will grow by 8 percent per year. Considering the fact that the U.S. government is already drowning in red ink, where in the world will all of that money come from?

#7) American workers will be hit with nasty new taxes under the new system, including a .9 percent Medicare payroll tax increase that the Senate bill would implement.

#8) There is also a 40 percent tax on "Cadillac" health plans in the Senate version of the bill. That tax is not indexed to inflation, which means that eventually every health plan will be subject to the tax.

#9) Even if your current health plan is "grandfathered" in, your current health insurance company will be required to meet new federal mandates that will dramatically increase the cost for any health plan it offers you right now. Guess who the health insurance companies will pass those costs on to?

#10) Senator Harry Reid has inserted some really wicked provisions in the Senate version of the health care bill that will make it virtually impossible to repeal the Obamacare bill once it is adopted. So the reality is that once it is voted in, the American people will be stuck with it forever.

Remember the days when Americans could freely contract with private health insurers for whatever level of health coverage that they wanted for themselves and their families? Those days are over. In the health care bill being rammed through the U.S. Senate, Americans are given 4 health care plan templates from which they must choose and 2 places from which they can get that coverage (either their workplace or from a state-based "insurance exchange"). You see, this is the new socialist America - where health care choices are limited and where conformity is required.

4 Health Care Plan Templates

Many Americans who are supporting the health care reform bill are excited because they think that finally all Americans will get the health care coverage that they want.

But unless what all Americans "want" is contained in the four standardized U.S. government health plan templates that is most definitely not going to be the case.

You see, private health insurers will still be involved in offering health insurance under the new plan, but their health plans will be required to meet the standards set forth by the U.S. government templates. The New York Post puts it this way.....

Consumers must buy policies from their employers or through the exchanges — but, either way, their choice of coverage is limited to one of four basic insurance plans that the government sanctions.

Private insurers will still compete to offer policies but must model their coverage on one of these four templates. In short, the Senate bill explicitly standardizes health benefits and then establishes elaborate mechanisms (including subsidies and penalties) to pay for them.

According to an Associated Press breakdown of the Senate bill, the most basic of the health plan templates would pay about 60 percent of health care costs per year, while the most "advanced" of the health plan templates would pay about 90 percent.

The vast majority of Americans have not even noticed that their health care choices are about to be scaled way back, but the Wall Street Journal has. In a scathing editorial, the lack of flexibility and choices in these "health plans" was pointed out....

Unnoticed by the press corps, the Congressional Budget Office argued recently that the Senate bill would so "substantially reduce flexibility in terms of the types, prices, and number of private sellers of health insurance" that companies like WellPoint might need to "be considered part of the federal budget."

But even among the four health plan templates there apparently is not that much of a difference. The New York Post describes it this way....

While these four plans vary from low- to high-cost options, the benefits offered under them are pretty much the same. The difference between the cheaper and pricier plans is mostly the amount of cost sharing (e.g., you pay less for insurance if your co-pays are higher).

So what does this mean?

It means that everyone is going to end up with essentially the same health insurance.

2 Places To Get Health Coverage

The Senate health care reform bill also gives Americans just two places from which to acquire health care coverage. Either they can get it from their employer, or they can buy it from one of 50 state-based insurance "exchanges".

Reuters has posted a breakdown of how these state-based insurance exchanges will work....

The proposed government-run insurance option would be dropped from the bill. Instead, the federal government would contract with insurers for two national or multi-state health insurance plans that would be offered through the new insurance exchanges. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management, which oversees health policies for 8 million federal workers and their families, would manage the public plans.

So what does this do to health insurance companies?

It fundamentally changes their nature.

The Wall Street Journal put it this way....

With formerly private insurers converted into public utilities, for instance, they'll inevitably be banned from selling products like health savings accounts that encourage more cost-conscious decisions.

1 Giant Socialist Mess

So where does this leave the American people?

It leaves them with a giant socialist mess of a health care system.

The American people are going to be furious when they learn about the minimal health care choices that they have under this new system.

Experienced U.S. doctors will leave or retire in massive numbers. One recent poll found that 45 percent of American doctors said that they would quit or retire if Barack Obama's health care reform plan is adopted.

If there is a mass exodus of doctors, it would absolutely cripple the health care system in America.

The level of medical care in America will also probably experience a dramatic decline if the Senate plan is adopted. Just ask veterans or those on Indian reservations how well U.S. government managed health care works.

The truth is that whenever the U.S. government gets involved in health care it quickly becomes a nightmare.

But now that is what all Americans will have - government planned health care.

The new Wall Street Journal editorial about the Senate plan expressed amazement at "the hubris of an Administration that thinks it can substitute government planning for market forces in determining where the $33 trillion the U.S. will spend on medicine over the next decade should go."

The truth is that the U.S. government is replacing a capitalist health care system with a socialist one.

The American people are not going to like it, doctors are not going to like it, employers are not going to like paying for it and the U.S. government is going to drown in red ink trying to pay for it.

But the Democrats are going to ram it down our throats anyway.

Most Americans seem to think that the world leaders gathered at the U.N. Copenhagen climate change summit are simply discussing ways to help improve the environment. Unfortunately that is not anywhere close to the truth. The draft of the Copenhagen climate change treaty now circulating would represent a giant step towards a "world government", it would establish brutal new world taxes which would transfer massive amounts of wealth from the United States to other nations, and it would create 700 new bureaucracies to enforce this new treaty. Not only that, but according to the provisions of the treaty, the United States would never be able to get out of it. The wording of the treaty makes it crystal clear that no future president, no future Congress and no future U.S. court would be able to extricate the United States from this horrific agreement.

An earlier version of the Copenhagen climate change treaty can be found here. However, the version of the treaty now being circulated in Copenhagen is not available to the public at this point.

Fortunately, there are some officials who have seen the latest version and who are willing to speak out. One of them is Lord Christopher Monckton - a former official in the Thatcher administration.

We already knew that the Copenhagen Treaty was going to be incredibly bad, but according to Lord Monckton it is going to be even worse than we anticipated.

So just what is this horrific treaty going to do?

#1) A World Government

The Copenhagen Treaty is going to be a gigantic step towards world government. Lord Monckton recently said the following about what the drafters of this treaty are trying to do.....

"Once again they are desperately trying to conceal from everybody here the magnitude of what they’re attempting to do – they really are attempting to set up a world government."

The wording of the treaty creates governmental bodies with a vast array of power over environmental affairs. The treaty gives these new governmental bodies tremendous power over the lives of every man, woman and child on earth. It even grants these new governmental authorities authority over the U.S. government and the U.S. Constitution.

When you have world governmental authorities that can micromanage the smallest details of our lives and that can trump the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Constitution, what do you have?

World government.

#2) Brutal New World Taxes

The Copenhagen Treaty will also establish crushing new taxes which will further devastate the economy of the United States and which will transfer massive amounts of wealth to developing nations.

This is what Lord Monckton had to say about the taxes in the Copenhagen Treaty.....

"Tax the American economy to the extent of 2 percent GDP, to impose a further tax of 2 percent on every financial transaction….and to close down effectively the economies of the west, transfer your jobs to third world countries – all of that is still in the treaty draft."

To illustrate just how massive these new taxes would be, he pointed out that they would amount to at least half of the entire U.S. defense budget.

That is huge.

So where would all of this money go?

It would be transferred to third world nations to help them build "green" economies and it would go towards running the new socialist world governmental bodies.

This would be a blow that the U.S. economy may never recover from. Already the U.S. economy is coming apart like a house of cards.

What would these new taxes do to it?

#3) Creation Of 700 New Bureaucracies To Enforce The Treaty

According to Lord Monckton, the Copenhagen Treaty will create 700 new bureaucracies to enforce the provisions of the agreement.....

"We’re looking at a grab for absolute power and absolute financial control worldwide by the UN and its associated bureaucracies and 700 new bureaucratic bodies."

This would not mean 700 new officials.

This would mean 700 new bureaucracies.

700 new organizations that would be crawling all over the world micromanaging the lives of every man, woman and child - making sure that they are adhering to the edicts of the new environmental world laws.

Lastly, perhaps the most ominous provision of this treaty is that it states that once a nation has signed on to it, it may not ever cancel its membership without the approval of all the other member nations.

Do you understand what that means?

It means that unless every single other nation agrees, the United States can never, ever get out of it.

Ever.

No future president would be able to do anything.

No future Congress would be able to do anything.

The United States of America would be under the thumb of this treaty forever.

We would be obligated to pay their world taxes forever.

We would be obligated to transfer our wealth to other nations forever.

We would be obligated to submit to the extremist regulations of world environmental bodies forever.

Are you starting to get the picture?

As world leaders prepare to converge on the U.N. climate change convention in Copenhagen next week, the belief in global warming and climate change is increasingly becoming less science and more religion. In fact, Al Gore himself, the one being called the "eco-prophet" and "the Moses of this generation" recently admitted as much. In his new book, "Our Choice: A Plan to Solve the Climate Crisis", Gore focuses on the "spiritual side" of fighting global warming. As far as allowing the science to persuade people about the threat of global warming goes, Gore puts it very bluntly in his book: "Simply laying out the facts won't work." Why won't laying out the facts work? Well, the truth is that as Climategate has revealed, the science is not on the side of the global warming extremists, so blind faith must be called for.

For those not familiar with Climategate, essentially what happened is that hacked emails and documents from the University of East Anglia’s Hadley Climate Research Unit were posted on the Internet which prove that many of the key scientists involved in the theory of global warming conspired to falsify climate data in order to prop up the premise that mankind is causing climate change. A great summary of this unfolding scandal can be found here.

Why did they did those scientists have to falsify the data?

Why?

Because the actual science simply does not support the theory of man-made global warming. If you are not aware of how the scientific data clearly shows that man is not causing global warming, please read the article that we recently posted on our sister site entitled "How To Save The Environment? Get Al Gore The Heck Away From It".

But Climategate is not about to stop Barack Obama from heading to Copenhagen. In fact, world leaders from all over the globe will soon be pouring in to Copenhagen ready to sign a treaty that will pledge their nations to make deep sacrifices in order to fight the threat of climate change. The Copenhagen Treaty will give an as yet unnamed U.N. body the power to directly intervene in the financial, economic, tax and environmental affairs of all the nations in order to fight the threat of climate change. It would represent a gigantic step towards world government. In fact, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon recently wrote an editorial in the New York Times that openly declared that "global governance" is needed to fight the threat of global warming.

In his editorial, Ban Ki-moon made the following very disturbing statements.....

"All agree that climate change is an existential threat to humankind."

"A deal must include an equitable global governance structure."

"All countries must have a voice in how resources are deployed and managed."

Sorry Ban Ki-moon, but all do not agree.

In fact, the whole Climategate scandal has revealed that the top global warming scientists have been deliberately lying to us.

In response to Climategate, White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs stated that for the Obama administration it really does not change anything.....

"In the order of several thousand scientists have come to the conclusion that climate change is happening," Gibbs told reporters. "I don’t think that any of that is, quite frankly among most people, in dispute."

But it is not just the denial of good science that makes global warming like a religion. The truth is that global warming extremism has now essentially become a religion.

In fact, one judge in the U.K. has issued an opinion giving belief in global warming the status of a religion. Just check out what Justice Michael Burton wrote.....

"A belief in man-made climate change, and the alleged resulting moral imperatives, is capable, if genuinely held, of being a philosophical belief for the purpose of the 2003 Religion and Belief Regulations. The belief must be of a similar cogency or status to a religious belief, the ECHR jurisprudence is directly material and the limitations on the concept and extent of a philosophical belief can be derived from that, without the need to place any additional limitation on the nature or source of the belief."

In addition, many of the world's most prominent religious leaders have expressed their belief in global warming and in the importance of trying to stop climate change. The Dalai Lama himself now says that the world's leaders must give the highest priority to the issue of global warming. Earlier this month Pope Benedict told a United Nations world food summit that "the Earth can sufficiently feed all of its inhabitants" despite the "devastation" caused by global warming. The World Council of Churches is calling on churches around the world to ring their bells 350 times during the Copenhagen climate change summit as a call to action on global warming.

Not only that, but some of the top environmental extremists associated with the U.N. actually want to equate the battle against global warming with religion. According to a paper written two years ago to influence the future strategy of the United Nations Environmental Program, environmentalism should be considered to be on the same level with religion as it is "the only compelling, value-based narrative available to humanity."

But nobody is doing more to equate global warming with religion than Al Gore is. Already dubbed "the eco-prophet" by environmental extremists, Al Gore is stressing the "spiritual side" of climate change in his new book.

In fact, Gore has developed specific environmental training programs for each of the major world religions.

Newsweek quotes Gore as saying the following regarding these training programs.....

"I've done a Christian [-based] training program; I have a Muslim training program and a Jewish training program coming up, also a Hindu program coming up. I trained 200 Christian ministers and lay leaders here in Nashville in a version of the slide show that is filled with scriptural references."

The truth is that belief in global warming is quickly becoming a global religious movement. Those without blind faith need not apply. A global treaty is about to be signed which will impose strict regulations on the lives of every man, woman and child on the planet to fight a threat which the science says simply is not there. To question this insanity is to risk being branded as a heretic by the environmental extremists that control the United Nations and most of the governments around the world.

The fight against global warming is now part of the official orthodoxy of the 21st century. To question it is to question the very world system that we are all a part of. The global elite intends to use this belief system to impose tyrannical regulations on the entire planet all in the name of saving the earth.

If you plan on speaking up about this you better do so while there is still time.

Consumer electronics retailer Best Buy has completely banned the words "Merry Christmas" from its advertising, but it apparently has absolutely no problem at all running a national ad which wishes their customers a "Happy Eid al-Adha" - an important Muslim holiday. A full size picture of this stunning advertisement is posted below. The message wishing their customers a "Happy Eid al-Adha" is circled in red in the lower left hand corner. This advertising circular was reportedly included in Sunday newspapers throughout the United States - including the Seattle Times. This truth is that Best Buy has been caught red-handed in a blatant form of politically-correct hypocrisy.

So just what is Eid al-Adha?

Well, Wikipedia defines the Islamic festival of Eid al-Adha in this manner....

"Festival of Sacrifice" or "Greater Eid" is a holiday celebrated by Muslims (including the Druze) worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to God.

So Best Buy has no problem openly wish Muslims a Happy Eid al-Adha when they have been at the forefront of the war on Christmas?

If you will recall, way back in 2006, Dawn Bryant, a spokeswoman for Best Buy, made the following statement regarding Best Buy's decision to ban the word "Christmas"....

"We are going to continue to use the term holiday because there are several holidays throughout that time period, and we certainly need to be respectful of all of them."

Since that time Best Buy has decided that they can use the word "Christmas" but they continue to ban all uses of the term "Merry Christmas".

The truth is that Best Buy should feel free to acknowledge all holidays if they wish, but when they openly discriminate against Christian holidays that is not acceptable.

Please get this out to everyone that you know. Perhaps when thousands of people express their outrage Best Buy will reconsider their hypocritical approach to religious holidays.

In what would be perhaps the stupidest in a long series of stupid foreign policy decisions, Barack Obama is reportedly ready to support a proposed U.N. resolution unilaterally declaring the creation of a Palestinian State. Such a decision would likely be the most anti-Israel move that a U.S. government has ever made, and it would do fundamental damage to the friendship between the United States and Israel. The proposed U.N. resolution would have the Palestinians declare a state that would claim sovereignty over virtually all territory that Israel did not control prior to 1967. If the resolution is adopted by the U.N., that would mean that Israel would be forced to "retreat" from the West Bank and from eastern Jerusalem - all without Israel ever being included in any negotiations. Needless to say, the truth is that this is a really, really, really bad idea.

WorldNetDaily is reporting that Ahmed Qurei, a former PA prime minister and member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization executive committee, recently said that the PA has "reached an understanding with important elements within the administration" to support a U.N. resolution unilaterally declaring the creation of a Palestinian State.

So what does Israel think about all of this?

Well, WorldNetDaily is also reporting that Prime Minister Benjamin is warning that such a move by the Palestinians would be met by "one-sided Israeli measures". In fact, Netanyahu is reported to have said the following to a group of high level policy makers.....

"There is no substitute for negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority and any unilateral attempts outside that framework will unravel the existing agreements between us and could entail unilateral steps by Israel".

But not everyone in Israel is on the same page with Netanyahu. Haaretz actually published a shocking editorial by Yossi Sarid which openly encourages the Palestinians to go ahead and unilaterally declare the creation of a Palestinian state.

In his editorial, Sarid makes this shocking statement: "He must declare, unilaterally, the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. Palestine now."

When Haaretz starts publishing this kind of nonsense you know that things are in a really sorry state.

Virtually the whole world is under the misconception that if the Palestinians are given their own nation that it will bring lasting peace to the region.

That is completely and utterly false.

There was no peace in the region before there was a "Palestinian problem" and there will not be peace once they have been given a state either.

The truth is that the Palestinians are obsessively and generationally committed to conquering every inch of the land of Israel at any price. If they can get part of the way there through diplomacy or negotiations they will be glad to do it, but they will never be happy until they rule every single shred of the land of Israel.

If you do not believe this, just read the following quotes from Palestinian authorities about the destruction of Israel.....

"The Islamic Land of Palestine is one and cannot be divided. There is no difference between Haifa and Nablus, between Lod and Ramallah, between Jerusalem and Nazareth. Dividing Palestine into cantons and giving recognition to the occupation is prohibited by Sharia (Islamic religious law), since Palestinian is Wakf(Islamic Trust) for all Moslems in the East and in the West. No one has the right to give it up or to forsake it. The liberation of Palestine is a mandatory obligation for all Moslems and not only for our Palestinian nation."(Shiekh Yuosouf Abu Sneina, the official preacher of the Al Aqsa Mosque, on Palestinian Radio April 30th, 1999)

"We may lose or win [tactically] but our eyes willcontinue to aspire to the strategic goal, namely, to Palestine from the river (i.e. Jordan) to the sea (i.e. the Mediterranean). Whatever we get now cannot make us forget this supreme truth." ("Moderate" PA Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Faisal Husseini, March 21st, 2001)

"We are discussing the current problems and when we speak about Jerusalem it doesn't mean that we have forgotten about Hebron or about Jaffa or about Acre... We are speaking about the current problems that have priority at a certain time. It doesn't mean that we have given up... We have announced a number of times that from a religious point of view Palestine from the sea to the river is Islamic." (Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, Palestinian Authority appointed Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine, January 11th, 2001)

Hamas still wants “Palestine from the river to the sea” -- and believes in retaking the land from Jordan to the Mediterranean, including Israel. But on the way to that '”strategic goal,” he said, the group might back negotiations with Israel “under certain circumstances” and would support an “interim solution.”(Yasser Mansour, a Hamas candidate from Nablus, The Boston Globe, January 17th, 2006)

"It is forbidden for anyone, Arab, Palestinian or Moslem to forgo one grain of soil of the land of Palestine, Jerusalem and Al Aksa... Whoever forgoes even one grain of soil his sin is upon him, and all the sins of the Palestinians, the Arabs and the Moslems, forever and ever..." (Palestinian TV, September 8, 2000)

"We the Palestinian nation, our fate from Allah is to be the vanguard in the war against the Jews until the resurrection of the dead, as the prophet Mohammed said: 'The resurrection of the dead will not arrive until you will fight the Jews and kill them...' We the Palestinians are the vanguard in this undertaking and in this campaign, whether or not we want this..." (Palestinian TV, July 28, 2000)

"[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement. For renouncing any part of Palestine means renouncing part of the religion; the nationalism of the Islamic Resistance Movement is part of its faith… the Islamic Resistance Movement, which is aware of the [prospective] parties to this conference, and of their past and present positions towards the problems of the Muslims, does not believe that those conferences are capable of responding to demands, or of restoring rights or doing justice to the oppressed."(Hamas Charter 1987 - Article 13)

"The battle with the Jews will surely come... the decisive Moslem victory is coming without a doubt, and the prophet spoke about in more than one Hadith. And the day of resurrection will not come without the victory of the believers [the Moslems] over the descendents of the monkeys and pigs [the Jews] and with their annihilation." (official P.A. newspaper, Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 18, 2001)

"The Jews are the Jews. There never was among them a supporter of peace. They are all liars... the true criminals, the Jewish terrorists, that slaughtered our children, that turned our wives into widows and our children into orphans, and desecrated our holy places. They are terrorists. Therefore it is necessary to slaughter them and murder them, according to the words of Allah... it is forbidden to have mercy in your hearts for the Jews in any place and in any land. Make war on them anyplace that you find yourself. Any place that you encounter them -- kill them. Kill the Jews and those among the Americans that are like them... Have no mercy on the Jews, murder them everywhere..." (Palestinian TV, October 13, 2000)

Are you starting to get the picture. The truth is that there are countless quotes like the ones above. The obsession of the Palestinians to take that land is so extreme that it is really difficult for people in the United States or Europe to even comprehend it.

Instead, politicians in the west just want to find a way for everyone over there "to get along". That is simply not going to happen.

But now Barack Obama just wants to give the Palestinians huge sections of the land of Israel (including parts of Jerusalem), with the Jews only getting some worthless "peace guarantees" in return.

How much have any peace guarantees with the Palestinians ever been worth?

Nothing.

They break their promises at the drop of the hat.

The reality is that the Palestinian political and religious leaders hate Israel and they hate the Jewish people.

Nothing is going to change that.

The creation of a Palestinian state may briefly delay the coming Middle East war, but it IS coming.

But Barack Obama and his administration are in a state of complete denial, and they seem to have no fear of shaking their fists in the face of God by giving away part of the land that God promised to the people of Israel.

All the friends of Israel need to stand up now and insist that the U.S. government must NOT support a proposed U.N. resolution unilaterally declaring the creation of a Palestinian State.

Israel belongs to the Jewish people and nothing is going to change that.

As bad as things have gotten in the United States, is there anyone who has considered whether America is now at the point where we may be simply too stupid to continue as a nation? Before you scoff, just consider the 18 items discussed in this article. You have to admit that they represent stupidity to the extreme. Certainly it would be hard to argue that the vast majority of Americans living today are "founding father" material. So can this be turned around, or have we now reached the point where the stupidity cannot be reversed?

Consider the 18 signs of America's stupidity posted below and then leave a comment with your opinion.....

#1) The U.S. government is supposed to be "by the people" and "for the people". So to represent the interests of ordinary Americans, we have elected 237 millionaires to the U.S. Congress.

#2) As rich as the United States supposedly is, the truth is that half of all U.S. kids will be on food stamps during some point of their lives.

#3) The new airport security scanners that give security screeners a clear view of what your body looks like under your clothing also "tears apart your DNA".

#4) The U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that landowners in Mississippi have "standing" to sue oil and coal companies for emitting greenhouse gases. If you are an American landowner now you can get rich by suing any company that emits carbon dioxide too. Meanwhile every last ounce of U.S. heavy industry will race to move their operations overseas.

#5) Tens of millions of Americans follow Al Gore, the "eco-prophet" who is trying to "save the environment" by viciously attacking carbon dioxide - one of the fundamental building blocks of life on earth.

#6) The fear of "climate change" is being used as a pretext to get world leaders to sign the Copenhagen Treaty which would tranfer huge portions of U.S. sovereignty to international bodies and which would be a gigantic step towards world government.

#7) A new bill in the U.S. Congress would give the Federal Reserve (the very bozos who created the financial crisis) more power over the U.S. economy than any agency of the U.S. government. Considering the fact that the Federal Reserve is a privately owned central bank that has been systematically draining the wealth out of America's middle class, is that really such a good idea?

#8) The U.S. Transportation Security Administration has stationed specially trained "behavior-detection officers" at 161 U.S. airports. Anyone who has watched "Minority Report" knows that the idea of "pre-crime" does not work. What kind of bizarre Big Brother police state are we creating anyway?

#9) With all of our amazing technological advances, the truth is that we still aren't smart enough to even deal with a raging epidemic of bedbugs in New York City.

#10) With all of our big talk about "the war on terror", we have still allowed radical Islamic jihadists to infiltrate every branch of the U.S. military.

#11) In fact, the U.S. allows Islamic jihadist training centers to openly operate all over America.

#12) Our Secretary of State believes that there are too many people in the world and that we need to start finding ways to get rid of some of them.

#13) The U.S. has abortion mills running all across the nation where employees are pushed to meet "abortion quotas" in order to boost profits.

#14) The CIA reportedly had a practice of sending terror suspects to prisons in Uzbekistan - a place where widespread torture practices include raping suspects with broken bottles and boiling them alive. Then we have the gall to wonder why the rest of the world hates us so much.

#15) According to the Pentagon, more than a third of American youth of military age are unfit for service, mainly because they are too fat or sickly. What a great generation of young men we have, eh?

#16) 45 percent of U.S. doctors say that they would consider shutting down their practices or retiring if Obamacare is ultimately adopted, the American people have been so outraged by the health care reform plan that there were near riots at town hall meetings all over the country this summer, and yet the U.S. Congress is still pushing it down the throats of the American people.

#17) One company in Arizona is reportedly freezing the heads of their customers when they die so that later they can bring them back to life and cure whatever had ailed them (or download their brains into a computer).

#18) Lastly, we are openly teaching our schoolchildren that it is perfectly acceptable to sing songs of praise and worship to our president. Well, at least if he is a Democrat.
