If you add heat to water,gaseous water vapor is formed. If this water vapor is cooled, it becomes liquid water(rain) or solid ice (snow). On Earth heating is very easy and cooling is difficult.

In the last 40 years we added so much heat to the earth through agriculture,dark surfaces (red roof,black roads) ,electricity production and disturbing liquid water balance in the land. The result is very huge amounts of water vapor dumped into the atmosphere.
Agriculture releases 4000 billion tons of water vapor. This water vapor after cooling falls as rain or snow.Water vapor stores huge amount of heat and polar ice melting can be linked to this. As there is more water vapor in the atmosphere we get unusual amount of rain or snow. Liquid water on land controls local climate. If it is disturbed, we get drought conditions/cold waves.

The solution to climate change is to reduce heat accumulation in the atmosphere.
This can be easily done through;
1. massive whiteroofing
2. reducing energy and resource use
3. use of solar thermal processes
4. increasing the storage of liquid water on land
5.Planting more trees.

Our focus should be on water vapor instead of CO2.

The title of this site is a joke. CLIMATE CHANGE = extreme weather conditions. Massive, frequent snow storms included. 2000 – 2009 was the warmest decade EVER.

PS – even the use of the term “Global Warming” is ignorant and outdated, the correct term is “Climate Change”.

I wholeheartedly support the comments made by “Kent”… your article’s basic premise is ridiculous, and reveals an embarrassing lack of awareness of basic logic and scientific method.

I therefore suggest that the article should be moved from “Environmental” to your “Stupidity” category.

Are you honestly this stupid?… Really? You give examples of a recent cold spell and think this disproves all global warming theories?… I suspect this may be a joke site, but I’m not going to read more articles find out if it is or not… Anyway, thats your argument? That its been a bad winter from some people therefore global warming is debunked? Your points are a joke. Here are a couple similar points to compare your logic to:

1) I’m not hungry right now therefore I do not need to eat. Ever.

2) No human poops because I never see them doing so.

3) Rain falls from the sky therefore there is a huge lake up there. Somewhere. In the sky. That holds the rain.
